Lowell high school students visited locations throughout Lowell National Historical Park in early June, filming segments of the “Children’s Earth Anthem” to be edited into a video, featuring the park and city for a music video. Dr. Sharon Clark, director of the music program for Lowell public schools was able to coordinate with the Lowell High School choir during the last weeks of the school year on this special, nationwide project.

Proposed by Louise Phillips of Washington, D.C., and composed by Charles Eversole, Artistic Director of the Singing Angels, the Children’s Earth Anthem is designed to be a nation-wide celebration of the National Park Service Centennial with students performing the song throughout the country.
