Plot summary
Forrest, who is the main character in the movie has an IQ of 75, which were discovered when he was a kid. He was also physically handicapped as a child, with his . crooked back. Because of this he was. bullied and ignored at school. One day his back started working normally, and that opened a lot of opportunities for him. Forrest’s main conflict is with Jenny, who was his only friend.. during his childhood. He is in a continuous. conflict. throughout the movie, because of his love for her. The problem is that she doesn’t feel the same back, she just wants them to be friends. He joins the Vietnam war, and comes back as a hero, but he is still in love with Jenny. Then he started the shrimping business, with lutenant dan, who lost his legs during the Vietnam war. And at the end of the movie, he marries Jenny.
