Introduction Architectural structures are immobile constructed elements. The structures are buildings or non-building that is used for temporary or permanent. However religion is a set the belief defining the relations existing between the divinity and the human being. This paper therefore analyzes each of the different structures in respect to aspect of religion and the types of buildings that are associated with each structure. Temple of Borobodur in Java Borobodur temple is a Mahayana Buddhist Monument found in Central Java, it is most visited tourist attraction found in Indonesia. The architectural structure is built as a single large stupa taking the form of a step-pyramid having nine platforms whereas the lower six are square, the upper three are circular. The architectural design reflects the influence of India on the region and how they dedicate their faith in the temple. The temple is also associated with some Indians who strictly follow their belief and traditions. Zhuhai Putuo Temple The Putuo temple represents the tradition and belief of Chinese Buddhist. The architectural structures have got the traditional characters and modern installation showing the balance of the people who are Buddhism. There are mythical animals placed on top of the roof to protect the building. The temple is associated with the buildings which are beside many mountains.
