Andrew's Essay As An Intensivist

Andrew Jackson was like no other president before him. The previous presidents had one thing in common, they were all part of the founding fathers or in John Quincy Adam’s case was the son of a founding father. However Jackson was a plantation owner from the west who had no connections with the government. He also had different views from other presidents that made his presidency unique. Two things that separated Andrew Jackson’s presidency from previous presidencies were he reached out to the common people and he was disapproving of the Bank of United States.

My fellow Americans, the upcoming national elections present a very important choice. We can forge a “true” representative democracy for the first time in history, and be led by our directly elected leaders. Or we can continue to live in an aristocratic republic run by over-educated elitists who are not beholden to the will of the people, but only to themselves.

Overall, the essay seemed to lack flow as a result of a noticeable absence of transition words. The essay had bad syntax. Each paragraph seemed to be scenario after scenario and each sentence seemed to be idea after idea. For example, in the first paragraph, the list consisted of multiple sentences, instead of just one sentence with commas. “But they are few: Being mistaken for a wheat field by a cloud of locusts. Being buried alive”...“Interviews from film festivals.”, this seemed like an awful way to list ideas. In addition, the fourth paragraph of the essay was made up of only 2 sentences, one

Andrew Franklin is a 65-year-old man currently working at Prior Lake High School. I got a chance to meet him in 10th grade for Biology. I decided to interview him for the Fourth Quarter Interview Assignment because I was curious about his past life. I got to ask him questions about his experiences during the late 1960s and the 1970s. Throughout this interview, I learned about his family, his life before and after the Vietnam War, and they way it affected him throughout his life.

The American Revolutionary War was now all around him and his two brothers. The effect it had on his life was devastating. He and his brothers joined the war to fight for the cause. Jackson was only thirteen years old. His brother Hugh soon died of heat stroke in Battle of Stono Ferry in 1779.

The richest man in the world, in his time, was Andrew Carnegie. His story of success was truly one of rags to riches. The art of writing is a complex and difficult process. Proper writing requires careful planning, revision, and proofreading. Throughout the past semester, the quality of my writing has evolved significantly. At first, I struggled with the separation of different types of paragraphs, and I found writing them laborious. Constant practice, however, has eliminated many of my original difficulties, and helped to inspire confidence in my skills. As a collegiate writer, my strength lies in my clear understanding of the fundamentals of writing, while my primary weakness is proofreading my own work.

Could you give me advice as to what I should correct in APA errors, and writing errors, so I can hopefully get full credit in this area next time. I have to admit I was not really sure what you wanted with this assignment I hope to do better next time. I have attached a copy for word formatting and pasted a copy.

Writing style: it is excellent because this is essay style, and writer who chosen times new roman and number of line is twelve, and also there is double space between each newline.
