I have wanted to be in the animal field since I was in kindergarten. I would want this job because I love animals, people are alright I just love animals. I guess what grabbed my interest in this job was when I got my first dog, I fell in love with dogs; and other animals, it’s just dogs are my favorite animal. Some of the challenges that I will have in this job would be having plenty of time and patients, getting this job would mean a tremendous amount. Considering that I’m not the best at math, and I know that math is involved with doing this, but I’m willing to push myself. After researching the career of animal physical therapy/ rehabilitation, I have decided to pursue this career. Animal Physical Therapist and Rehabilitators have many responsibilities. In animal physical therapy/ rehabilitation there are plenty to do with animals, and even sometimes people. The owner would have to pay the staff members, and pay for equipment for the animals, also the feed, so it will be a nice chunk of money. Also treating the animals with good care, and have to have decent …show more content…
For some values there are feeling accomplished after having successfully done the job, and even having to make solid, and hard, and even quick decisions that anyone would have to make, but just making the right call at the right time (“Interests and Values”1). The ones listed above would be great ones to have, but also in my interests some would be, working in all kinds of weather and conditions, and any type of animal. Some of the values that I would have are, working with different people, and possibly learning from them, or helping them, even teaching the peers around. Me, treating people well, and getting treated good shows that I’m a good coworker, also hearing some of the people’s story that they have been

Be Attentive: The values that resonate with me include being honest and forthright, saying what you mean but avoid insulting people. Get the job done you were expected to do, that is a value I hold very high. When we look at the political dynamics in Washington, D.C., we note that in the most recent polls the U.S. Congress has achieved an 82 percent negative rating from the American public. Americans value hard work and accomplishments, and in truth neither of those values are apparent in the Congress. That is, only 12 percent of those polled believe that Congress is doing what voters sent them there to do. My values were formed by my father and mother, my older siblings, and also from my closest friends. Finish your assignments with class and competence, treat others the way you wish to be treated, give others the benefit of the doubt before passing judgment these values are from my family and my closest most trusted friends.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been in love with animals. When I was little, I knew that whatever my career was going to be, it had to involve animals. Over the years, I have gone back and forth with different career ideas. Veterinarian, Animal Trainer, Zoo Keeper; the list goes on. For a while, no majors at any of the schools I looked at really peaked my interest.

Aside from my love for animals, the position allows me to grow and gain valuable professional and personal experience that will help me in the long run of my veterinary career. I have been lucky enough to already have gained experience as veterinary assistant. As stated in my resume, I have worked at an animal clinic for the past two summers. One summer was spent shadowing and learning what it is like to work in the animal care field. The second summer, I was able to get a position as a veterinary assistant. I volunteer
It is important that you develop an awareness of what you value, as these values will be important in informing your relationships with clients, co–workers and employers.
As the saying goes, a dog is a man’s best friend. The dog is a loving companion to a man. He is happy to go everywhere with his master. He shows his affection for his master by wagging his tail and licking his hand or face. This timeless relationship continues to evolve into new kinds of human-dog interactions that increasingly benefit society.
Studies have shown that the children who grow up in homes with animals have a better ability to show empathy later and as adults. Pets are easy to communicate with, and their body language is much simpler than a human’s. This simple body language allows children to learn to empathize with them, a skill they can carry with them as they go through life (Holistic Online, 2007).
The animal also has to ensure to be kept up with veterinary checks and the shots are to date. The animal usually stick with one master to perform its job thus the master would own the animal as it is his or her own pet and co-worker as well (Weston, 2010).
As a person I believe I have strong values and have made right choices in my life. I am a very honest and dependable person that makes a positive impact at home and the workplace. We gain out outlook on values from day one starting with our parents and on up to role models and our environment. These values can change depending on outside factors and events in our lives. Values help us differ from right and wrong and help us with decisions every day. One of the biggest venues for values is in the workplace where we face challenges and obstacles all the time. Working with others and on team’s present challenges where our values come into play on how we work cohesively.

Values are intangible things that are important to us, and that guide us, individually, to make decisions. Each person has a different set of values, morals, and ethics, which is the reason that each person handles a situation differently. Here, I will discuss my top 5 values, and why they are important to me.
Values often use modified methods and styles; I have utilized these different ethics in my career, which has aided me in improving, the environment at work and in my life. Having these particular skills of approaching situations causes an optimistic environment, respect for others, honesty, and reliable outcomes.
