Animal testing, also known as animal research, is the use of non-human animals in experiments. Each year statistic reveal that, millions of animals such as dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, pigs and monkeys experience mental and physical abuse from scientific practices. Even though some may believe that these experiments are necessary on grounds of improvement of medicine, most people believe that these experiments are outdated and cruel. One of the biggest disadvantages recognize in animal testing is the infliction of pain and harm. Throughout these experiments, the animals are forced to swallow and inhale vast amounts of test substances, which are poisonous and toxin. Also, 95% of drugs passed by animal tests are immediately discarded
