In acute phase of Anisakidosis infection when the parasite present in the stomach, the most common symptoms regularly are nausea, vomiting and epigastric pain, while a peptic ulcer or a tumor may beginning 1–12 h after ingestion of infected fish (Plate 19). Sometimes there may be symptoms of acute chest pain. Furthermore severe IgE-mediated hypersensitivity can be elicited; concecuensly there is sometimes urticaria, angioedema and even anaphylaxis. In lower abdominal pain when absseses present in intestine it can mimic acute appendicitis manifestations (Plate 20).
