Anne Frank Good Heart

Anne Frank, a name? A book? A girl? A prisoner? Anne was all these things. She lived in a world ruled by the Germans. Adolf Hitler, the ruler of the Nazi Germans ordered for the whole Jew population to be destroyed. He ordered all Jews to be taken from their homes and to be sent to labor or death camps, also known as concentration camps. Once Anne’s family heard of this they went into hiding with four other Jews. After two years of hiding, not being able to go outside, talk or move a lot, or being able to use the W.C. at certain times of the day, the Franks, Vaan Dans, and Mr. Dussel were turned in by a random citizen and were arrested. Before that time Anne had a diary where she wrote her deepest most inner thoughts. She once said, “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” I disagree with Anne’s statement, “Despite everything, I believe people are really good at heart.”

Anne Frank died, but she has left a very inspirational legacy behind. During her life, Anne was a very optimistic person. She loved to think of the best things in life. She was very caring too, comforting people when they were down. Her feelings about some people and some situations changed at times, but she has always felt the same about one thing. Anne believed that people are really good at heart because she is a kind and caring individual. Why would she think this way in that situation? What does this say about her as a person?

Anne Frank is a kind, positive, and caring person. She has stated that "In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart." She is kind to everyone after they are rude to her and call her many names. She takes most of the positives out of a negative situation. Also, she's just a caring person in general to everyone she meets. Anne Frank has risked so many things going into hiding in the secret annex but she always found the best in it. She's a hero and a role model to many people.

A quote that helps support this is, "But you don't know how important it can get to be...especially when you're frightened." This reveals that Anne likes to enjoy life. This is noted in the play, when she makes the statement until she brought pictures and not clothes, she said that memories mean more to her than anything. It also reveals that she uses her annoyance and happiness as a shell. After Anne made remarks to her mother, she went to Mr. Frank, or her father. She told him personally that she acted the way she did so people would take her seriously. These are the reasons that support the claim that the quote reveals multiple things about her

She was always jovial, she never let anything or anyone bring her down. One way this is stated is in lines 463-466 of the play, “I slept, father. Wasn’t that funny? I knew it was the last night in my own bed, and yet I slept soundly.”.This quote shows that Anne was hopeful. She was hopeful that she would find another home, or that she as well as her family would be coalesced no matter the obstruction that stood in front of them. She was hopeful, that she along with her sister would stay together through thick and thin. She was hopeful, that she would survive. Optimism is extravagantly mundane in adolescent generations. They always want to have fun and they always find a way that they can, but Anne was different. She was always perky, consequently, she always made everyone smile. In the play, “The Diary of Anne Frank”, while everyone was down and blue about their situation, Anne was content. Against all odds, she stayed that way, she was blissful to be a Jewish girl, she was grateful to have kenned the people she did, accordingly, she was ecstatic to have been a component of something more astronomically immense. It didn’t matter what she was doing, she was joyous while doing it. Anne was a very hopeful person, so she always saw the good in

To begin, Anne was a selfless, outgoing, and positive young girl that had to live in hiding. Anne was always positive during the time of the war,

Anne Frank was a young girl who lived during the holocaust who lived during Hitler’s reign in Amsterdam. Only one problem: She was Jewish. In July of 1942, Margot Frank was called to report to a concentration camp. The Franks were forced into hiding in an annex behind Mr. Frank’s business. The Franks, along with the Van Pels and Mr. Pfeffer, hid in the annex for about two years. During her time in hiding, Anne confided in a diary. In her diary, she wrote “Despite everything, I believe people are really good at heart.” I agree with Anne. In my opinion, everyone is good at heart; they just show it in different ways. People do what they think is right. Even though there is evil in the world, I believe that deep down, everyone is good at heart.

Over 6 million Jews died once Hitler came to power, an event that came to be known as the Holocaust. Adolf Hitler had grown up learning that Jews were bad. This is where we think he got the idea to blame them for Germany’s loss in World War 2. Anne Frank and 7 other Jewish people went into hiding shortly after Margot, Anne’s sister, got a letter asking her to report to a Jewish work camp. They were hiding for 25 months, until they were discovered on the 4th of August in 1944, everybody was arrested. Anne Frank is believed to have died from Typhus fever on March 12th, 1945, just 34 days before the Bergen-Belsen camp was liberated. The only survivor of the annex was Mr. Otto Frank. He returned to Amsterdam, June 3rd, 1945. Historical events that happened during the Holocaust can be proven to have affected the annex member’s mood and relationships in the drama, “Anne Frank.”

Anne Frank, a girl who survived partially of World War Two, was born in Frankfurt, Germany June 12, 1929. After the Nazis took power in 1933, the Franks moved to Amsterdam. Unfortunately, things took an outrageous turn for the worst. Since being Jews, the Frank family would have to go to a horrible place, known as concentration camps. Later on, a law was passed and all Jews had to register themselves in. That registry was for the Nazis to find out were the Jews lived. The following spring, the Nazis yet had passed another law. The law stated that all Jewish people had to put a yellow star on their clothing that said “Jood” on it. Soon after, Jewish families were being called up to go to transit camps. From the transit camps they would go to Concentration camps. To overcome that, the Frank Family went into hiding. The German invasion of the Nazis started on May 10, 1940. A year later in 1941, the Franks had started making tactics and preparations to go into hiding, before the Nazis would eventually reach them. With the help of Otto Frank, Anne’s dad and his colleagues at the Opteka Company, Otto was able to prepare a hiding place for his family. Finally, the day had come. July, 1942, they had moved into the hiding place, called the Secret Annex. The Franks,Van Pels, and other occupants of the hiding place hid in a secret attic apartment on 263 Prinsengracht Street. Before the Franks, and Van Pels got there, colleagues by the names of Johannes Kleiman, Victor Kugler , Jan Gies, and Miep Gies, had helped set up the hiding place by smuggling food, and gathering clothing.

I will be using the play version of Anne Frank’s diary excerpts as examples that people are truly good at heart. While in the annex, the Franks and Van Daans celebrate Hanukkah. They had very little, and despite that, Anne went and made gifts for everyone in the annix.

" In spite of everything ,I still believe people are good at heart,"this comes from the diary of Anne Frank.I agree with Anne Frank that people are good at heart. I agree with this because everybody is naturally born good at heart so if something changed them for the worse it could just be a cry for help. I believe everyone has good inside them, you just have to look deeper into their soul to find it.

For instance, she was always helping people and giving them gifts all through out act one. In act two, she said that she always thought positively and never negatively. She would then pass that attitude on to the adults that were scared for there safety. All in all, Anne was a person who impacted the ones around her in a positive way.

so yes I absolutely agree with Anne Frank's statement “Despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart.” People risked their lives trying to hide Jewish people. Back when the Holocaust was happening some German people tried protecting Jewish men and women by taking them in and hiding them. This could get all of them killed but they still tried. In the movie (The Book Thief) it shows “A German family keeping their word to the jewish man's father and took the man him into hiding.”

Anne frank was very young when she died. She was killed by the Nazis when she was only 16. Anne had kept a diary with her during the 2 years she was in hiding. One of the last things she wrote in this diary was “In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart.”

Elements of Literature – Anne Frank In the play ‘Anne Frank’, there are many elements of literature. These include characters, settings, themes, the point of view, and the plot. Each of these elements play an important role in the telling of the story. In fact, the play would be drastically different if any of these parts were to change.
