There are many influential figures in our history, and they have changed our lives and the way that we see things. I believe that Anne Frank is one of the most influential figures in our history because she’s claimed to have penned one of the world’s most powerful accounts of Jewish life during World War II. When she went into hiding during the Holocaust, she journaled her experiences for an imaginary friend by the name of ‘Kitty’, and she always believed the world would change and become better; "that peace and tranquility will return once more” (Anne Frank).

Eleanor Roosevelt (husband of Franklin D. Roosevelt) believed that the book was very remarkable, because she knew Anne was not afraid to express herself and tell people how she really feels (Source #4). The Annex was rebuilt and created as a museum in the year 1960. Anne’s diary (the original) can be found on display there (Source #4). The Anne Frank Educational Trust developed a film in 1995 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Anne’s death. In 2009, a project commenced at the Anne Frank Center in the US. The facility began planting saplings from a chestnut tree, which first grew about 170 years ago, that Anne treasured (Source #1). Many people today think it is quite incredible that the group was able to stay in the Annex for about two years. They

From her perspective, Anne Frank, a young girl, displays her fear of being discovered by writing down her experiences. Her diary gives insight on what it was like to be a Jew and in hiding, during the time when the Nazis sought to kill all Jews. Although written from a subjective point of view, the diary is considered reliable as it is a personal type of writing, thoughts the owner of the diary would not disclose to another. However, as the first edition of the diary was published after the death of Anne Frank on the 25th of June, 1947, and having it edited by her father, Otto Frank, it does not display an accurate representation of the two years Anne wrote in hiding as his father decided what would be published.
Anne and her family was all in a annex were they would be safe. They wanted to be there where they wouldn't be found by the Nazis and took to a concentration camp. They would have to be very quiet in the day time cause the people under them would hear them and then people would know they was up there. They had a very little space with a good group of people they had to share living space for their safety. They would usually try to sleep during the day and stay awake at night were they could talk and do other things cause they would get caught in the day time trying to do the things they wanted to do.
Her parents sent her to the Netherlands after World War I, along with other children who came to recover from Tuberculosis and malnutrition. She liked the Netherlands so much and her parents let her stay with her Dutch Family. She started working with Otto Frank in 1933, and became his secretary. Otto had a trading company, Opekta, making jams. She later met the Frank family and became friends with them. In the spring of 1942, Otto asked Miep to help his family go into hiding. She agreed and Otto, his wife, and kids were well taken care of, because Miep made sure the family had food and other supplies daily. She went into the secret annex, where she hid the Frank family, very often. She also kept the business going. When the annex was invaded by the Nazi soldiers and every one was arrested and taken out, Miep saved Anne’s diary. She hid it in her desk and when the war was over and Otto found out Margot (Anne's sister), and Anew had died in Bergen-Belsen. Miep gave him Anne's diary. Miep stayed linked with the Anne Frank house until she dies, and then declares, “she hopes the organization carries on for

Anne Frank was a young, Jewish girl who lived during the time of the Nazi Regime. She, along with every Jew, suffered from the Nazi's Anti-Semitic laws, and the Franks were forced into hiding. They were able to hide for two years, until they were discovered and sent to concentration camps. Before, she documented her time in hiding in a journal which revealed her true self and the reality around her. By reading Anne's diary, we can identify the major events and influences that helped shape her life and identity.
Most people in the camps would be killed right away. Anne’s family was lucky not to. Anne and margot were separated from their parents. It all came down to a sickness called Typhus. Margot and Anne died from it in March 1945.
“Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who has to go into hiding during World War Two to escape from the Nazis … After more than two years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps … After her death Anne becomes world famous because of the diary she wrote while in hiding” (annefrank.org). Anne Frank was a young girl who had a bright future, but it was taken away from her by the Nazi’s and Holocaust. Before the Holocaust, Anne Frank was just the typical young girl. During the Holocaust, she had to adapt to a dangerous situation. Then, after her death, she has left a legacy that has impacted the hearts of many. Through Anne Frank’s early childhood years, the years during the Holocaust, and the years after her death she has left
She impacted history with her first point of view journal about the horrible and shallow life of the victims in the concentration camps as she shared the knowledge of what she learned through her diary. This well written diary was a major learning source for children since the publication of her diary in Germany. She gave a beautiful inside look on what life was like as a Jewish victim of the Holocaust and made an incredible and realistic writing style about the traumatic events of the Holocaust. I myself believe that Anne Frank’s book is very inspiring, and it perfectly portrays the struggles and inhumanity very nicely, giving the readers a nostalgia of being in the Holocaust themselves with the descriptive ways she was describing. Anne Frank was a major influence on history, and she is an important figure on teaching the tragedies and hardships of the
Eventually her family was betrayed and moved to one of those concentration camps like Dachau. Anne and her sister Margot were transferred to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Northern Germany where they eventually are assumed to have died of Typhus. They had past away nearly two to three weeks before most camps were liberated by American and U.N. soldiers. Carved into one of the walls of the infamous gas chambers is an etching done by a person who knew they were moments away from their own death, it read “If there is a God, he will have to beg my forgiveness.”
