“I simply can’t build my hopes on a foundation of confusion, misery, and death… I think… peace and tranquility will return again” said Anne Frank. Anne Frank worked hard to stay a positive person, and she certainly was. Anne Frank is best known for thinking of all the positives in the world while living a negative life. After taking a closer look at the life of Anne Frank, it is apparent that she deserves recognition as a profound writer, and a human being. Anne Frank was born on June 12 1929 in Frankfurt (Bio.com). She was born and raised to be Jewish as she lived with her parent, Otto and Edith Frank on the outskirts of Frankfurt ("Anne Frank." Anne Frank). On Anne Frank’s 13th birthday she received a red checkered pattern diary from her father. A month after her birthday though, Margo received a letter, ordering her to report to a work camp in Germany ("Anne Frank." History). She also wrote in her diary for her own company, for there was no one during hiding who could really understand what she was feeling (Bio.com). Anne Frank’s father also inspired her as well, because he gave her the diary to write in. Otto Frank also knew that Anne Frank did want to become a writer after the war. Anne Frank even worked on even re-writing her diary so if it was ever found after the war it would be more descriptive (Anne Frank Museum). Unfortunately Anne Frank never finished
