A speech that combined the use of Aristotle's Ethos, Pathos, and Logos in such a manner that each aspect grew the next. As one aspect developed in her speech it boosted the other up as well, allowing her to come from behind and present the True American Dream - the individual's personal dream. The flag flys to unite us as "One Nation under God".The stars stand for the sky I live under, to remind me that I live under one God. The thirteen stripes stand for the thirteen original colonies, from which my proud country was born. The red stripes represent the valor and bloodshed it took to stand up for this country. The white stripes stand for the new beginning when the Fathers of the Constitution took on the challenge
What is white talk? White talk is not simply an action, or a category to describe certain interactions, it is an exercise that coincides and exonerates racism its self on a fundamental level. This may be a bold statement but with the deeply grounded roots in which racism lie, “white talk” is a shining example of how our intents do not determine the impact our words, thoughts, and actions have with a system like racism.
