In the article they tested a theory about male aggression and anxiety on infidelity. Infidelity is a major problem in our world leading to high rates of divorce. Many would say that adaptive challenges from women and men came from feelings of anxiety, worry and hyper arousal which could have a link to aggression. Feeling anxiety that leads to aggression is triggered from the hypothalamus and pituitary glands and puts your body in “fight or flight” mode, increasing stress hormones and heart

Their aim was to test resilience and examine it between the violence and aggression of middle school and high school students. They claim that bullying has a huge effect on kids in schools and that some may cope and deal with it differently depending on the support and feeling of belonging at school and within their homes. They had 373 students grades 7-10, 54% were girls, 53% were White, 26% were Hispanic, and 56% were economically disadvantaged. Aggression, victimization, perceived family and school connectedness and demographic variables were measured in the study. Results showed that over time there was a decline in aggression due to the resilience process the kids had gone through over time and the closeness they had with their families as they got older. It also showed that the more a child felt they belonged in their school and the more they had the feeling of being protected and supported it compensated for the negative and lowered the aggression rates.

There are usually not many reports made about same-sex violence because many were ashamed or thought their situation would not get heard. These individuals feel like their problems would be determined less serious over heterosexual abuse situations. “Lesbian and Gays are more reluctant to report abuse to legal authorities because they fear that they are showing a lack of solidarity among the gay and lesbian community. Many individuals may think there is a difference between the risk factor among heterosexual couples and same-sex couples, however there is no major difference. Also, according to Seccombe (2015) “The rate of abuse in gay and lesbian relationships is similar to or even higher than that in heterosexual relationships, around 25 to 30 percent” (p.322). As we look at the lesbian and gay community we see that they just want to fit in, so this is another reason their stories become unknown. There are many reason to think only woman get victimized, men are victimized, as well. To add, the individuals who describe themselves in the female role are victimized, based on the gender norms where woman should be unassertive and house labors instead of being in the workforce. So, therefore, there is not a major difference or any difference between the risk factors between the heterosexuals and the lesbian and gay intimate

This research looks to understand how microscale differences in soil and plant canopy surface temperatures, rather than macroscale differences, can affect a plant’s photosynthetic output, its ability to survive in a given environment, and the general ecological processes within the alpine fellfield ecosystem. This ecological research was conducted in the White Mountains of eastern California: an alpine fellfield ecosystem with rich plant diversity. From the first to the third of August in 2005, the researchers measured changes in surface temperature on a spatial scale by measuring variances within a few centimeters of soil and a time-based scale by measuring differences within the span of a few minutes. The results showed a tremendous variation in temperature on both spatial and time-based scales based on the respective locations of different plant environments in the alpine fellfield. Models predict that the alpine fellfield will experience a higher range of
Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a serious public health problem in youth and young adults. Serious short- and long-term consequences of IPV, coupled with high prevalence, have driven researchers to formulate theoretical frameworks to explain why individuals engage in abusive behaviors toward their partners.
Scope: Alien life is becoming a common topic due to politicians and scientist alike! Scientists are starting to ask if we are alone in the Universe. Some of them believe aliens have visited for thousands of years. Others have taken an interest in UFO's because of the 2016 election. Right now bookmakers have place a bet on whether or not Obama will make an announcement before he leaves office. If Obama doesn't disclosure the UFO files, then Hillary might when she takes office. Hillary has promised to investigate Area 51 when she elect President.

Many relationships go through domestic abuse, but Kaufman & Jasinski (1998), asserts that most of the abusers are men. Moreover, Rosenbaum & O’Leary (1981) showed that men who abuse their partners are unassertive. An abundance of men intimidate and turn violent towards their partner in order to achieve what they want, since they lack confidence to show others what they need (Fanlk, 1977). Since many batters feel anxiety and lack emotional needs (Dutton, 1998), they are unable to eloquently express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions in a non aggressive way (Winters, Clift, & Dutton, 2004). In order to help treat abusers, Winters, Clift, and Dutton (2004) conducted research using Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i) from Bar-On (1997). EQ-i

Since the introduction of YouTube almost 10 years ago, the site has grow well past a simple website that comes and goes with trends. YouTube has now become a major player in entertainment media. It now attracts thousands of advertisers and business’ in attempt to grab the attention of the growing Internet audience. The difference between television productions and YouTube productions is who is on the other end of the camera. The creator, actor, editor, and marketing person are all in one individual. An array of people are now taking their career’s into their own hands and attracting their own audiences. These people now find themselves in a new era of media in which everyone including their income is coming to them from comfort of their homes. In my paper, I plan to discuss how the internet has created a new form of fame that as well gives those who are famous an income, and career that could last long past their three minute video post.
The ambiguity of such parameters has historically limited the ability to determine what potential effects [PSI]A may have on mental and physical health outcomes.” says Rogers and Follingstad. Observing one’s actions when they are in a close relationship is a start, these people will give off body language anywhere and everywhere when things are abusive towards this woman. Simple signs are given off when things are not right for this person, mentally and physically. Women become insecure about things, they will start doubting everything in their life because the intimate partner is constantly abusing their mind. Being with an abusive partner teaches people self betrayal and how not to love theirself and the skin he or she is in. If a person can’t learn to love theirself then how are they supposed to love someone else? As many relationship arguments start out as name calling, he or she might not think about it as being abused. Most people have this idea that being abused means someone has to physically hit or harm another person. No one thinks about words hurting just as much if not worse. In Ashley Judd’s video, she states that, “In our country, more women are killed by their intimate partner than have died in battle or on nine eleven.” This shows that intimate relationships are the most fatal in all
