However, one scientist from that very same research team decided to go against company’s decision, risking his career, he contacted another company dedicated to harvesting medical plants from the Amazon Rainforest and announced the discovery. (Gregory, 1987) Soursop is rich in phytonutrients and phytochemicals. Soursop contains Vitamin C which is considered as an antioxidant. The content of Vitamin C in each 100 g of Soursop juice contains 20 mg. Therefore, Soursop is one of the important

sources of Vitamin C. Mechanism of action of Vitamin C as an antioxidant is by capturing and reducing harmful substances that can harm and damage cells (Frank, 1985). Besides Vitamin C, Soursop is also rich in other antioxidants in the form of phytochemical compounds including aceltahid, amyloid, anonain, anomurisin, ananol, atherosperminin, betasitosterol, kampesterol, sitrulin, galaktomanan, prosianidian, and tannins. These compounds are useful for treating various diseases especially cancer so that reinforces the Soursop as a useful medicinal plant (Alibi, 2011). Many regions in the Philippines use Soursop decoction as tea to remove toxins in the body. The leaves of Soursop tree are from small to large type, color green, thick, and hard. The leaf of the Soursop tree is the part commonly used as an antioxidant (Yul, 2011).
Since then, there have been several promising cancer studies on Soursop.
Moringa leaf is best known as a magnificent source of nutrition and natural energy booster. This jolt of energy is not based of sugar, thus it is maintained. Moringa is likewise relieving. It helps in lowering blood pressure and is a sleep aid. Its detoxifying impact may originate from Moringa's capacity to purify water. Moringa goes about as a coagulant, attaching
C. The framework does an excellent job of stating and describing the relationships between the various concepts of interest. The framework was developed over a nine-year period of time and involves many different groups and institutions.
The background and significance of this study are properly presented in the introduction. The research question is presented at the end of the
The allspice in pickling spice is a good source of vitamin A and of B-complex vitamins like riboflavin and niacin. Mustard seeds also contain those B-complex vitamins along with vitamin E. Coriander is an especially rich source of vitamin
Correlational analysis were used to explore the relationships between the studies key variables, the results are indicated below (Table 2).
It similarly has diuretic properties, strengthens the release of bile, purges the liver, helps with hypersensitivities and decreases cholesterol. It contains key vitamins and minerals, for instance, vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin C, iron, calcium, potassium, folic destructive and magnesium.
Your body is in a constant battle against infection, diseases and the formation of free radicals. However, there's a secret weapon that can help you fight against these things: antioxidants! Antioxidants are elements such as vitamins A, C and E that counteract the damage caused by free radicals and help protect your healthy cells. Free radicals are the molecules that contain unpaired electrons, which make them highly reactive. In this form, they can cause damage by attacking healthy cells, and when these cells grow weakened, you become more vulnerable to disease.
Paper 1: - An abstract of paper 1 gives overall view of the study, method of study conducted, selected participants and their numbers. It also provides the evidence that how the data and results were collected. The abstract is showing the objectives and have
The role of vitamin C in preventing cold is not totally proved, and in fact some researchers found no links between vitamin C and its cold-fighting potential. Therefore, do not fall under the misapprehension of taking too much vitamin C when you have a cold or flu since you can be overdosed and suffer from vitamin C
It is important to mention at this stage that a research study presented by a researcher may not give complete information about the selected topic. There can be certain limitations of methodology and the new researchers may criticise it for being incomplete. As research is a circular process in which ideas can be added and extracted by researchers anytime, the application of the presented ideas by one researcher are tested and verified.
Some of the various substances classified as antioxidants are: vitamins C and E, selenium, and carotenoids (i.e. beta-carotene, lycopene, lutein, and zeaxanthin).1 Other items that contain high amounts of antioxidants capabilities are bioactive compounds (BAC). A few BACs include phenolic acids, flavonoids, and ascorbic acids, which can be found in berries. BACs are responsible for the health benefits which alleviate the pain for those individuals who suffer from inflammation disorders and cardiovascular disease. BACs can lower the risk of various types of cancers as well.3
The health benefits and vitamin levels of vegetables as projected by nutrition facts panels and dietary indexes may be drastically decreased by common cooking methods and freezing—especially Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a water soluble and highly heat labile molecule synonymous to L-ascorbic acid, an essential nutrient for humans and other animal species. L-ascorbic acid acts as an antioxidant in that it destroys free radicals, an especially reactive atom or group of atoms that has one or more unpaired electrons. Free radicals are created in the body naturally and can also be introduced by an external source and are able to damage cells, protein, and DNA by altering their chemical structure (merriam-webster.com). Because of the potential health hazards of insufficient Vitamin C intake, further research on decreased Vitamin C levels in common vegetables is vital.
Since old days licorice roots are getting used as one of the most beneficial natural elements that have got the highest medicinal properties as a result of which different kinds of therapies can be easily conducted with the use of the same. These roots can be utilized in a variety of ways out of which licorice root tea deserves special mention.
