For a huge amount of people, anxiety is a normal response to everyday stress. It’s a normal emotion that everyone goes through at a certain points in their lives. Many people feel anxious or nervous when facing problems at work, school, etc. Anxiety disorders however, are super different. They can cause such distress that interferes with a person’s ability to live a normal life. Anxiety disorders are the most common psychological disorders in the United States. About 27.6 million people in the U.S. are suffering from different types of anxiety disorder. There are four different types of anxiety disorders: phobia, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder also know an OCD. Extreme levels of worry and tension are a way of living for people who suffer with anxiety disorder.
Anxiety is an uncomfortable feeling of fearful thoughts about what might happen in the near future. It can be a serious mental illness for people that suffer this disorder. What is an anxiety disorder? If you were to ask people around your classroom or work area for example, if they felt anxious from time to time, they would most likely say they do. But for people who struggle with a server state of anxiety, basically an anxiety that occurs more than often. The definition of anxiety can mean something way different to them.
