The new school that I am attending is Apollo Career Center, now in the past week around 15 kids have either been kicked out of Apollo, or suspended. Not the mention the kids making trouble off school grounds. So my problem is behavior of students at Apollo. Now to start off I don’t want to get into too much detail for the simple reason that, it’s really none of my business. The behavior of some of the young adults at Apollo is just absolutely poor. It’s terrible. I’m not too sure why you would start trouble at a school that could possible determine your future. Apollo Career Center is an employability school and if you’re doing nothing but starting trouble, fighting, and even giving the school a bad rep then you are simply wasting your time
Some of my interests include flying and gaming. Two of my aptitudes are computers and technical engineering. Two skills I have are figuring how things work and exploring things I have not done before. Some of the good qualities I have are being kind-hearted, patient and having a good sense of humor.
The career I chose to undertake as my profession is that of a mechanical engineer. Why do I want to become a mechanical engineer? Well, for starters, I would be able to design, build and possibly repair many various machines and other technologies that are complex. These technologies can range from being already in use on a global scale to new, futuristic designs that are highly technical. Also, this career includes being a sort of jack-of-all-trades, where I would possess knowledge in mathematics, physics, etc. Finally, this career offers me the chance to expand outside my immediate area since mechanical engineers are well desired around the globe as well.
The Temple of Apollo used various materials that were demanded by the priests. All its architects and constructors worked under the instructions of priests as this was to be a holy place. For special buildings like this, materials would even be imported to make sure they get the right structure
I am a senior with two years till graduation, but you may ask yourself, “Why does a senior need two more years? How could they be considered a senior in this scenario?” I am glad you asked. I have enough credits from previous colleges to be labeled as a senior but the requirements for my career change have left me with more than a few holes to fill in my degree audit thus making me a perpetual senior. My degree is in biology and chemistry with a minor in math, but I began as a mechanic. I began working on automobiles in my hometown of Minneapolis, receiving a degree from Hennepin tech and landing in New Jersey fixing jets for the military. The life of a mechanic is not a glorious one. It is long, hard, dirty, and painful on the good days, but when you add military regulations into the mix it becomes unbearable.
My number one goal in life is to make a difference. I want to be the reason that people smile and have joy-filled lives. With this, I plan on either being a veterinarian or a chiropractor, which I will be going to Saginaw Valley State University in the fall to pursue. I want to either help animals, or I want to help people in my community by giving them the ability to have bodies free of pain, or at least reduced pain. I am currently looking more into being a chiropractor, because I have a more personal connection to this career, for my dad is disabled with chronic back pain, but seeing a chiropractor has turned his life around and he can now be my loving father again, instead of the depressed, pain-filled father I once had.
I feel like the Career Academy classes definitely did a very good job of introducing us into what college is going to be like. Especially with the deadline on Sunday nights. With normal high school classes, you are able to push things off and not do them and then also turn them in late and still receive credit. This caused me to really learn how to use my time more wisely and not give up any extra time that I have. It also gave me a much better perspective on what working with an online teacher is really about. I know that next year I will be taking more college classes on line so this class helped me to know what I will need to do for next year.
Multiple incidents occurred during the Delta 2015-2016 year that truly highlighted the disciplinary issue at Delta High school. Specifically, the two physical fights that were held in front of the courtyard and the 9th grade science classroom. This begs the question; do the students here at Delta fully respect the other students, teachers, and the regulation? While the majority of the students at Delta are respectful, there are still a handful who need to be reminded that they are in a professional school and if they can’t respect the regulations made, then there should be consequences. If we cannot resolve the disciplinary issue here at Delta, it will continue to be unfair to the students at Delta who are actually here to learn and want a
Within society, there are many occupations to explore and chose. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) results showed that my personal career strengths fall under the area of teaching and counseling. Currently, as a school counselor for a high school in Duncanville, Texas, a suburb outside of Dallas, I find the results of the assessment to be very accurate. Making the decision to become a counselor is a rewarding and exciting career choice. In the world of counsling, there are many individuals who place emphasis on not just basic implications, but also on theoretical studies that usually are a part of
The theoretical career development framework that I chose to assist in Catherine’s career counseling process is Donald Super’s counseling theory. I decided to chose this particular career development framework because I thought it would be the most effective and appropriate to use with the client. The client is thirty-seven years of age and is dealing with a lot on her plate. Equally important, people grow and change throughout their lives and this theory respects that.
A man once said “The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life.” The California state university will send me on my path to my future. California State university, the Northridge society, one of the best technology schools and should allow me to have the best education.
Chapman University offers a road to an everlasting career in film and screenwriting. The program the school offers on screenwriting has caught my attention and I believe this school is the right choice for me to start the path to my career. Careers involving screenwriting requires an extensive imagination and the perseverance to finish a project. Chapman University is a private school that accepts students with above average GPAs and test scores. 5,681 students are currently enrolled at the school and it requires $22,355 in tuition. Screenwriting is an exceptional career that pays well and surely does takes care of you with its benefits.
My base school is an accumulation of various types of student, most of which would not like to be at school. This shows through their attitudes during class. My peers tend to act up during class by constantly talking and disrupting the teacher. I, wanting to be at school, am forced to deal with this ruckus. The student attitude at my base school is blatantly disrespectful, while at the Governor’s School, students show respect and arrive to class for the purpose of learning.

If groups are formed and there are still instances of a certain student acting out, I would switch their group so that student could work with a different volunteer or with the teacher. That student may just not like the way the group is being run. I would also go over with students what respect is and how we should respect one another and other adults
