Profile #1 Name: Seth Sex: Male Age: 19 Appearance: Large. At 6’5 I am 275 pounds of man-flesh. I wear the midnight black robes of a first level Necromancer. Movement: My mom said I waddle a bit, which causes chickens to attack me on sight. I tried to walk more naturally, but it doesn’t seem to work. A Banny-Rooster attacked me a few weeks ago. My professor said I should have killed and reanimated it, but that just seems cruel. Mannerisms: When I get stressed, I put my fingertips together and do my breathing exercises to avoid another panic attack. They are pretty common. Voice: Deep, but nasal. I used to repeat everything under my breath after I said it. Voice Tag: Egad, grandpa! I.Q., abilities, talents, qualities. I’m pretty smart, a good singer, and very loyal. …show more content…
Ambition level (wants): Apathetic, and lazy. I was once ambitious and motivated until I went to work a few years back at the apothecary when I was 15. After three months of working twelve hours a day for six days a week in a dungeon, any ambition I had was sucked from my soul. I just don’t want to do manual labor anymore. I think I may have actually lost a bit of my soul. Not sure. Character Flaws, bad habits, weakness. Biggest secret: I’m in love with Lyla, who is in an abusive relationship Snail. If Snail finds out, he will almost certainly rip the soul from my quivering corpse. Biggest Fear: Confrontation. Think about it. If you were a low-level necromancer in a place where killing and reanimating your peers is celebrated, how would you feel about it? Biggest Disappointment: I would have to say, the fact that I got all C’s last semester and a D in Deviltry. I just can’t seem to stay awake through my classes anymore. Most embarrassing moment: When I was 11, I took part in a disastrous farting contest with my brothers, in which they still remind me, freaking
The biggest failure I experienced was back during my Sophomore year. The hardest class in the high school was AP World History in which the requirements were hours of homework a night. Many people tried to convince me not to take the course due to the fact that it is considered the hardest class in the high school. My mom tried her hardest to try and persuade me to take a different class but I felt that it was a requirement for me to take it to prove to the colleges that I was up for the task and that I was prepared to do the work necessary to succeed in college. The course required reading a whole chapter in the text book in three days and take a quiz to prove that we read and understood the topics. This is where I struggled the most because memorizing the chapters and the major topics was very difficult unlike others who could recited the
My first year of college I was devastated because I didn’t pass my math class due to procrastination. Not because the class
I have one memory from my childhood that is very vivid, most likely because I was seen on Americas Funniest Home Videos. It all started when my brother had an idea, at the time it seemed very fun and harmless. The idea was to make a skate video of him, but like always I wanted to be just like him so I wanted in on this video as well. Little did I know I was going to end the day in the emergency room, in tears, with an ice pack and twelve stitches, and later find myself on national television.
Telling myself that I was too good for anything lower than an A, and being the only accepted 10th-grader, I was certain that I would hold one of the top seats in academics by the end of the year. I was wrong. I ended the semester with 4 C’s. Waking at 5AM then carpooling with a family who lived 45 minutes away and arriving home at 8PM with 5 hours of studying, I would mull over how Bowman Favan was better than me in English, and if I worked longer during my usual 4AM nights. I told myself that I could only beat Bowman if I was 100% self-reliant like he was.
Whenever I have a panic attack I ensconce myself into the fetal position as I try to take up as little space possible. 4. My dad harangued the child, trying to convince them that they weren’t and that they were just being a baby. 5. There are many people with haughty attitudes they are often unliked but are oblivious to it.
Thesis Statement: People should stand up to authority and examine their own actions towards what they are about to do to because they are being brought down by the tension to follow the ritual in a gruesome manner and thus falling into peer-pressure.
I have graciously been given the opportunity to broaden my horizons and learn a variety of practices in the pharmaceutical environment. Since the October of 2017 I have been employed at Hoey Apothecary under the care and teaching of many pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. At Hoey Apothecary I work as a pharmacy assistant, and only because of the Youth Apprenticeship Program that Monona Grove High School has offered to it’s students. During my time in the program I having developed a variety of skills and learned the inner works of the cooperation between the technicians and pharmacists. Specifically as an assistant, I am tasked with the responsibilities of; ensuring that the patients are receiving the correct prescription, at the right time,
In Timothy Keller's Every Good Endeavor, we read that at times work can become fruitless and even pointless. Work is a good thing and that is how God created it, but the sinfulness of this world can disguise and twist its goodness. Sin degenerates every aspect of life, the soul, mind, and body, causing nothing to work as it was originally designed. The two greatest elements in life that sin has corrupted are love and work. Just as love under sin can be painful and life draining, so can work. Work under sin can be a painful toil as well. Fruitlessness is the production of frustration and lack of fulfillment at work. Conflicts, unfortunate circumstances, human errors and poor results in our field of work will weigh us down with the thought that

As a freshman in high school, I had the worst grades in Biology, English and Math. I was struggling in English and Biology because of my poor English-language skills. I was new to the United States, and that made the transition difficult. However in math I was just being lazy and I did not want to put in the effort needed to get a decent grade.
Modern necromancy emphasizes similar skills and practices to the original archaic craft. Necromancy, however, now focuses on “brighter” aspects, such as necromancers locating their ancestors. In Vodhu, Buddhism, and Shinto, followers practice necromancy as a way to worship their ancestors. Author Leia Wendell, suggests in her book, The Necromantic Ritual, necromancy contains no “brutality, desecration of the dead or any
Did you suffer an accident or illness, which caused your grades to plummet? Did family matters, such as a death, divorce or serious illness have a negative impact on your studies?
An OTA can benefit from a fruitful interview. My interview with JBMT was highly rewarding and gave an excellent insight into an own culture that differs from my own which led me to understand diversity. The interview helped me get to know a lot about Mr. JBMT; his culture, occupation, and activities. Mr. JBMT is a caucasian male with ancestry origins in Italy, Germany, Russia, Austria, and England. Like most Caucasians, Mr. JBMT respects and observes holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. During these occasions, people come together to appreciate each other with gifts and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Mr. JBMT celebrations with family are traditional and invoke religion.
If I had not have nearly failed fifth grade math, I would not be taking Calculus II in college right now. All of the repeating questions from fifth grade math failed to hold my attention. There was no escape from the boredom that left grades intact, and so I ended up barely passing math. That was a serious blow to my pride. Before then, I felt intellectually on top of the world. After receiving that grade, I was at least a couple pegs lower than before.
“Successful, ambitious people need both energy and goals to succeed. Someone with plenty of energy but no goals may find themselves pursuing one opportunity after another without success, wondering what it is that they are wanting out of life. Someone with goals but no energy may find themselves wanting to achieve success, but too complacent to do the work to go about pursuing their goals” (businessdictionary.com). This quote says that even though ambition gives you the motivation to achieve your goals. People may quit when the work becomes too hard, but striving to reach a certain goal will come with stress and failure. We must use those failures to learn from the mistakes we make and use it as a motivation to achieve. If you learn to set desirable goals for yourself, and approach them with an optimistic attitude, you are well on your way to the success you desire.
