Apple is one of the largest growing companies in America. They are consistently growing and improving the latest technology that has generated from the communication industry. In view of the fact that these successfully large companies need to be run by proficient leaders who have exceptional management skills to continue to companies rise in its business. The four functions of management are Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling. These four functions are vital to running a thriving company. Innovation can be both internal and external functions for an effective strategy in building a successful company. It is the change to services and goods that are sold from the different departments. (Bateman & Snell, 2011) Being able to come up with new ideas and visually format them into completed products is key to staying ahead of the competitors. The internal aspect of Innovation consists of the employees, goods produced and the revenue made. The competitors, consumers and wealth of the country play the external role. In the Bloomberg Business article it states that “the ability of Apple to innovate in many spaces--getting the music companies to agreed to 99 cent pricing, creating wonderful iTunes software, making a terrific physical product, the iPod, that just works in your hand.” (Nussabaum, 2007) This is why Apple is number one in Innovation, because its creative appeal to people desires them to want what they do not need.
Diversity is an internal and external factor that affects the four functions of management by controlling the atmosphere of the working staff and suppliers. The external factor is in 1993, Apple created a diversity program to establish equal and fair treatment. Apple Incorporation is one of the largest organizations dealing into Information Technology. Apple has a host of products ranging from Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Phones and Multimedia Devices. The company has been extremely innovative in the field of multimedia and it owes it success to one of the greatest innovators, Steve Jobs. The company has always believed in innovation and that is the major reason why it has been so successful in the mobile phone segment. In recent years Apple is second only to Samsung in the Global Mobile Phone industry. A stakeholder are anyone with an interest in the actions of the business. Apple is a business that has both internal and external stakeholders. These stakeholders are really important within the business as they help to keep the business running and also help the Apple to be successful overall. The best way in which Apple can have really good relationships with their stakeholders is by communicating effectively. There are many ways in which Apple as a business can dothis. Onemethodis the way they approach their stakeholders. This is important because if they (the company) approach their stakeholders in a positive way then they will get a positive outcome.

Its' innovative music and digital content delivery service, iTunes, has sold over 1 billion songs to date. As of the close of their latest fiscal year the company generated $156B in Sales and generated a Gross Profit of $68B earning a Net Income of $41B (Apple Investor Relations, 2013). The intent of this analysis is to evaluate Apple's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) and provide an analysis of each. The cause, impact and recommendations for each specific strength, weakness, opportunity and threat are provided along with an action plan of how to maximize strengths and opportunities and mitigate the effects of weaknesses and threats. Since 1976 Apple’s innovation has helped the company become a market leader in computer and mobile electronics. Through this time the company has faced a number of challenges either it be an internal power struggles or criticism from the media for certain aspects of their business model. This report covers five different issues that the company is facing or may face in the future.
Apple Inc. has been dedicated to innovation ever since the company was first formed. Apple's recent breakthroughs were a result of a new technologies convergence upon the "digital hub" strategy (Mortensen, 2010). This strategy has served Apple well; especially during the last few years. The iPad, iPod, and iPhone were all born from this strategy. Introduction The intention of presenting this report is to give a full strategic appraisal and evaluation of Apple Inc. In 1976, the company was founded in a garage in Santa Clara, California. The American multinational corporation mainly involves in designing and marketing consumer electronics, computer software and as well as personal computers. This paper is a business situation analysis of Apple, Inc. Apple a market leader in the consumer computer industry with products including desktop, laptop, and handheld computers, as well phones, media streaming, and now watches. A multinational company, Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976. They specialize in designing, developing, and selling high-end computers, software, and other electronic devices. Because of Apple’s broad product portfolio they compete with many different companies in a range of markets. This analysis will be conducted using historical information, a SWOT analysis, and portions of Porter’s Five Forces Model to understand its business strategies, impact within markets, products and services offered, corporate leadership, and future.
However, they may face the limitation on the firms’ development. Apple is based on a hybrid hierarchical structure (mixed with other organizational structures (Meyer, 2015). Meyer (2015) depicts that companies’ main framework is based on innovation and the leadership of Steve Jobs but for that type of leadership only works if the structure allows it to do so. Due to leadership change to Tim Cook, there are some changes made in the organizational structure in order to suit the market and its demands (Meyer, 2015).
