I also have experience with special needs children with those in my church group and even adults. My aunt Carly has autism and it is tough for my family and it has taught me how to have patience and kindness towards special needs individuals. The three character traits that best define me would probably be hardworking, honest, and even-tempered. I am hardworking because of my strong work ethic and my constant push for good grades and a healthy lifestyle. I am honest because in that I tell the truth most of the time, I, of course, am human and mess up sometimes but work hard to fix these mistakes. I am even-tempered because I am not quick to anger and remain calm in most stressful situations including late night homework. The hardest decision I have ever had to make is whether to do AP human freshman year, unfortunately, I made the wrong choice by not doing the class because I was afraid it would interfere with basketball(which I stopped playing this year). I now though enjoy the AP classes I am in which are APES and WHAP. I know that this is not a huge decision but luckily I have the type of life where I don't need to worry about the hard things. So, therefore, I want to help those that do by joining
I have had numerous opportunities to volunteer and work with children of all abilities. Many of these children had independent or concurrent learning disabilities, emotional problems, and/or behavioural problems. I met these individuals through organizations I volunteered or worked for, programs I organized, and through summer camps where I was a counsellor that all catered children with disabilities. I also have personal relationships with children of family friends.
an honest man, but fails to grasp the certain harsh, hidden perspectives of slavery, as well as the Civil War itself. These are the characteristics that define my character,
I continuously studied for test, and worked vigorously throughout my high school career. I volunteered at the local animal shelter, helped out in small children classrooms, and would volunteer with church activities.
The first example of this would be I always try to be honest with everyone including myself. I think it’s important not to be dishonest because you lose people’s trust, and you become unreliable. This is not what I would consider a good quality in a person. Another example of my character; is being someone who everyone can rely on and come to when they need advice or help with school, family, friends or etc. This is a very important because its significant to be able to have someone you can rely on at all times. The last example of my character is having flexibility in my life. For example when I was needed to change my position on my team I did so with ease and being a team player. Theses are a few ways I have demonstrated character through out my high school
I had no professional experience dealing with special need children. However, my aunt had Down Syndrome and watching her mother dealt with issues relating to her Syndrome allowed me to understand the challenges she faced.
Outside of school, I am also active in my community. I am involved in many activities. For my church; Spring Baptist Klein Campus; I have been involved as a volunteer at Vacation Bible School for 2 years. I have volunteered for crafts both years because I like to be around children of
In middle school, I remember a few students that had disabilities. There was one boy that had autism, and he would stay with my class all day. The teachers would give him easier worksheets to

My character is something I take a lot of pride in. I am known to be honest, kind, and playful. I enjoy having fun but I know my limitations. I know when enough is enough and when it is time to get work done. I think this is why I excel in public and community settings. I know how to make people laugh and feel good about themselves with just a smile. I am also very honest. Since a young age my parents have inspired me to be honest and grateful. I have great work ethic and enjoy being helpful. I am patient
Transformational and servant leadership are rooted in the study of charismatic leadership. An early conceptual model of "charismatic leadership" has been closely linked with the work of Max Weber, who described the leader as a charismatic person who exercised power through followers' identification with and belief in the leader's personality. Both transformational and servant leadership are both inspirational and moral.
Leaders believe people have an intrinsic value beyond tangible contributions as workers. As a result, genuine interest in the spiritual, professional and personal growth of all employees is demonstrated.
The characteristics that helped mold me into the person I am today is honesty, fairness, responsibility and respect. The first one is honesty in my opinion honesty is the best policy. I believe that telling the truth leads to a better outcome than telling a lie because the truth will always come out. Secondly, is fairness to me I feel that everyone should be able to have a say in a certain decision and everyone should have an equal opportunity to speak their mind.Thirdly,is responsibility for me responsibility is getting your work done on time. Another is completing a task on your own and not letting others do your work.Lastly is respect if you do not like someone you still have to show them respect and be professional.Another is respecting
The development of this particular plan is to identify where I am in my career and what skills one will need to acquire in order to become and effective leader. Being an effective leader is of most importance for the development of any organization. Having read the information from this course on the many different types of leaders I have gained insight as to where I am lacking and what training and skills I need to be focusing on throughout my career path so that I may gain the sufficient knowledge that is needed to become an effective leader rather than one who is toxic. The information below will give a brief observation as to where I see myself being within the next 3-5 years and what steps I will need to acquire for these goals to be successful.
If I had to describe myself, I would say that I am very laid back and easy going. I do not let small things bother me. I feel you should “pick your battles” sort of speak. I think I take after my mom. Growing up I never saw her really angry at anyone. She always gets a long with everyone and I think she rubbed off on me. I am also friendly and caring. I am always concerned with how people feel and how I can
I am very hard working and motivated but I can also be very easygoing and a little funny. I tend to be very shy, but I try to push my personal boundaries and interact with others. Kindness is one of the ways I have learned to interact. Above all other things, I try to show everyone my kindness and compassion. Being nice is something I have been taught. I constantly try to show others kindness and compassion with hopes they will show others too. If I could only keep one of my traits, it would certainly be my
