Extended Information Technology
Introduction
My name is Kirtan, I am 16 years old and I am interested in doing IT Security. I got a Distinction in GCSE OCR Nationals IT at Cranford and choose to take up AS IT for A-Levels. I choose IT because I am interested in computing/IT Security. Over the next few years we are going to develop more technology (as the world will rely on technology) and to protect this is to have a solid secure security to avoid hackers. Outside of school I like gaming in my free time for entertainment. I have also done this in school for GCSE, creating a game for young children on Microsoft PowerPoint. I am a hard working student who meets deadlines as well as publish independent work of my own to the best of my ability. I have got an overall Distinction in GCSE IT OCR Nationals. I am interested in working with the computing technology because the units I did in GCSE were interesting and I would like to learn more about Computing.
Examples of work
Some of the work I have done was in GCSE OCR Nationals course. I used ‘Microsoft Access to make an interactive database for easy use to people who don’t know how to use Microsoft Access and keep track for records. This was made for a company called ‘movie zone’ made it easy for people to book/order rentals easily. As you can see the user interface is user friendly as well as easy to use, I did this by adding hyperlinks and used macros to record commands. I also edited a video in ‘Windows Movie Maker’ and used a
Case Study Assignment KL Worldwide Enterprises Inc.: Putting Information Technology to Work Submitted by Mark Lemoine September 14th, 2012
During the summer of my tenth grade year, I interned at Accenture, a consulting firm, where I repaired computers and resolved any software issues. At first I started opening and and exploring parts of retired dell laptops. As I became more proficient, I was able to help clients fix PC issues such as broken screens, replacing RAM, and transferring data from the hard drives to another computer. This internship inspired me to consider the Technology industry as a possible career. Taking into consideration the broad range of possible career paths in technology, I decided to major in Computer Science once I get to college.
My main goals in life are to be happy and do good in life. I rather be satisfied with the work I express through my life than be “focused on money”. Saying that, money is a must need in life. I would like to get a job in the IT (information technology) field. I want to obtain a job in this field because technology spikes my interest, even from a young age, I've tinkered with computers, game systems, phones, and other devices. I also find this field of work interesting because information technology is expanding greatly every year . Like currently, there are releasing
I started college after high school but I didn’t finish and then I decided to go back to school. I finally decided to start taking classes for information technology at Axia College Univ of Phoenix. I love working with computers and hope to make a career of it. I enjoy computers and have used them since 1996. I would love be in the online gaming industry one day and want to create something that millions of people
Hi Rileigh, I know you will be successful, your skills are very useful for future work. I feel that your work ethic will be essential when you get a great job. I know you will improve you computer skills as you age, or you won't need to because you job will be more of a leadership type of job.
I am dedicated to my work and once I start something I do my absolute best to finish it on time and right the first time. I am enthusiastic and willing to learn new things and is able to adapt to new stations and people if needed. I also have excellent communication skills with peers around me which is helpful because you need to be able to talk to people effectively so they can understand what you need them to do or what they need you to do. I am familiar with some programs used to code like Khan academy , Scratch , and App Inventor (grade 10) and used them with great efficiency knowledge and skill. In Grade 9 I took Comm-Tech which deals with Photoshop and video editing and also used them effectively. My passion for being game designer /
Carlos, I am glad you have decided to change to the IT field. You will love it and you make your living better. I have been in the IT field for 12 years now. starting with broadband Hughesnet internet installer and moving to desktop and Microsoft specialist. Now I am a network engineer hoping to move into network security soon. get your degree in tandem with your certifications. it is really important. one ATM machine issues me 120 dollars while I input 140 from a gas station. This is so embarrassing to try to get my $20 dollars back calling my bank. There are a lot of opportunities in the bank area fixing ATM and securing bank
My passion for coding is still there, but I’ve grown a passion for learning about network security’s and how they work is very intriguing to me. Just watching shows with some cyber-attacks creates the interest in me. I would really love to learn about any security studies there is. I would love to work for the CIA or even for the military. I’m currently a junior at The University of Texas at El Paso my current major
A functional Information Technology (IT) system requires all the individual technologies involved to work together to achieve its intended purpose. If one of these technologies fails to perform, the entire system becomes vulnerable to breakdown and failure. In this complex relationship, each component is a receiver as well as a provider of services and data. I will make a connection between core technologies to show how they work together. We will concentrate of the most common and important computer technologies, these include; computers programs, databases, networks, web systems, and security assurance.
My professional qualifications date back more than 10 years, and my personal interest in computer science goes back even further. At a professional level, I have worked as a systems administrator, software developer and corporate trainer. Most recently, I am employed full time at Nike as a Mobile Security Engineer. My primary responsibilities in this position are to provide security assessments on all Nike mobile applications prior to their release. This includes black box testing of application
Major aim of this report is to have an idea about the significance of Digital data and associated information system in the business models of the organizations. Present era is accompanied with IT revolutions that are reshaping organizational strategies of both small scale and large scale businesses (Swan, 2013). This report is based on the case study of National Australia Bank in order to analyse the challenges that are faced by the Bank in the fields of data management and data governance. The impacts created by information system and its management on business model of “National Australia Bank “are also discussed in the report. It has been found that increased impact of Digital data has expanded the horizon of business opportunities available for “National Bank of Australia” to a larger extent. The incorporation of Digital data in the business model and prevalent operational strategy of the bank has enabled it to maintain competitive advantage over its rivals in the market.
My interest in computer security, specifically the areas of programming languages, security network architectures, the development of new approaches to securing large scale enterprise applications and databases begin in my initial computer science courses. I discovered I have a natural affinity for solving complex computational, programming and system integration problems exceptionally fast. I also learned that I have the ability to define a series of coding requirements and complete them with a specific goal of
First of all, I would like to dedicate my acknowledgement of gratitude to our professor Dr. Tabrizi Nasseh for being an advisor and guided the outlines of the research paper as well as approving the research proposal of
Input, output, and connectivity are some of the most important considerations to make when choosing a computer. Without input and output our computers would not be able to function as they properly should, therefore making decisions on these sections are an important part in choosing a computer. In my last paper I broke down the main operating factors to consider when shopping for a computer: CPU, auxiliary storage, and RAM. These were the heart of the computer, but now we have to decide on the functionality that can be represented through input and output options. Through this paper we are going to try and rule out the obsolete
The research topic will be robotics and the research will be an investigation into whether or not robotics has an optimistic future in eh United States. On the one hand, robotics seems to offer some benefits. On the other hand, they are hugely expensive and demeaning to self-worth. Being that robotics is a relatively recent phenomenon and still in its beginning stages, relatively little research has been conducted on the subject. Medical institutions would profit from further research in order to know whether or not to invest in their acquisition.
