Sometimes something as simple as a tree can symbolize America. I think the people in this country resemble the apples, fresh and ready to be picked to be taken around the world. However, a specific process is required to produce a healthy apple. It starts with the roots of the tree, which represent a strong foundation and good education. All the apples in the tree need the roots for key nutrients. The branches represent the thousands of life paths that are opened up to us in America. After studying, people set off on these paths to pursue a career. Unlimited opportunities for a good education and careers are America’s gift to my generation.
America has provided schools with many resources for a solid education. Today, technology has played
America’s gift to my generation is like an infinite book. There’s a beginning where everything started and there is no ending because there is always something new to write in the book. And for every new chapter there is a new beginning and a new gift.
Would you want to know why I think America’s Gift to My Generation means to me?I have many reasons to why I think America’s Gift to My Generation. “Men and women fight for freedom, then they begin to accumulate laws to take it away from themselves”.~Author Unknown. This means that once the soldiers get their freedom, they take their own freedom away from the family to go in war to make America better. So all the people can have what they need to survive and never be on the streets to die.And they also can be free
America’s gift to my generation is not just a physical gift, but a mental gift. The physical gift is the safer place to live and grow. This mental gift that America gave to my generation is a deep feeling that you can go around and be who you are, dress in what you want, say what you want, and basically do what you want without being restricted to doing one thing each and every day. America’s gift to my generation is the ability to grow, learn, and live life the way you want to without a limit. If you look at America compared to other countries it’s like a whole family, and America is the one that all the other siblings go to for help or a safe place. America might not always be safe but we can always count on all our amazing, brave souls
When you join the army you make the biggest, most courageous sacrifice ever. Most people don’t know what it’s like to be in the army, and will probably never find out. As Oliver Holmes once said, “One Flag, One Land, One Heart, One Hand, One Nation”. As a veteran you're truly are a patriot. Freedom, Sacrifice, Veterans Day that's America's gift to my generation.
America’s gift to my generation, what are the first things that come to mind, freedom? Ronald Regan once said,” We are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.” We celebrate Veteran’s Day to celebrate those who made the biggest sacrifice for our freedom, America’s Gift, but freedom is not the only thing. America’s greatest Gifts to me are my freedom in general, freedom of Religion, and high advances in technology.
America's gift to our generation is freedom, religion, and beliefs in our country. The freedom we have today wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for our soldiers in the military over the years. I appreciate what I have today very much and will continue to appreciate what I have as long as I live.
In this essay I will tell you what America’s gift to my generation. I will be writing about the different electronics, games, rights, veterans, and solar power. The most important thing that was given to my generation was my teacher Mrs. Evjen or Jody Evjen.
Have you ever wondered about America's gift to your generation. Have you taken taken the time to think about any gifts America has given you to your generation. Do you have any family members that have fought in any of the world wars or any wars. The few gifts I thought of is the gift or rights, education, speech, and opinion.
88% of people in the US graduate high school, 59% of people in the US graduated college, but 100% of people have the opportunity to graduate. The reason I showed you the statistics is because every one can graduate high school. But not all people do so that's why I showed you that. The whole thing matters because everyone needs the education. If you have the opportunity for a good education then take it, like how my mom dropped out of college and now she doesn't have a good job to pay some bills alone. America’s gift to my generation is education.
When I see a skyscraper in a city, it reminds me of America; it stands taller than other nations. Like a skyscraper, America was built up from scratch by people who saw potential in its future. Our founding fathers drew the blueprint of America, suggesting that our colonies could unite to form one monumental building. From that blueprint, our Constitution was created which I believe is America’s gift to my generation.
Have you ever thought about what America has done for your generation, and what that represents? I have, and America has given my generation freedom. Recently I have asked myself these two questions, “Are we actually free? Are we actually allowed to make our own decisions?” I have thought about it and we are free, we are allowed to make our own decisions, and we have equal rights. “How do I know this?”, you ask. I know this because if it wasn’t true then our nationwide motto wouldn’t be, “America, land of the free, home of brave”.
¨Accept people for who they are,you shouldn't try to change them¨. This quote means just because people are not like you shouldn't judge them.It also means that people should accept you for who you are not who they want you to be.This topic matters to me because back in the day people used to judge people because their skin was a different color and they were not like them. They also used to judge people because their hair or they didn't have the nice clothes like they did.But now this is less of a problem. America's gift to my generation is acceptance.
Do you really know what you have, and i am not talking about phones and stuff like that I am talking about what America gave to you. One day I was asked this question and I did not know what to say at first. I was thinking about that question but i didn’t know till now, but do you.
In Lee Greenwood’s words,”Im proud to be American where at least I know I'm free.”It is an honor being an American knowing I am protected by my brother and a lot of other military troops.I know I am free because we fought to take slavery away and now there are now slaves so everybody is free from slavery. There are still so many reasons why it is a gift to be an American in my generation.
America has gifted me and my generation with so many great things. We should honor the Veterans many of whom have given their lives to protect and serve our country. We as American people are born with so many rights. We use and abuse those rights every day. I believe we as American people should wake up and realize how hard people have worked to get us our freedoms. Every day we wake up and we go to school or work not even thinking of those of us halfway around the world working to keep us safe and able to be doing what we love. We need to wake up and see the gift that America has provided to us every day. We the people of the United States should join together and honor our gift from America.
