Everyone has a opinion on diffrent issues in their hometown, and yes their opinions matter but on the issue on dog parks i am going to provide some reasons why i agree with that dog parks are benefical. I love dogs and I love seeing dogs happy, dogs are at their best when they are having fun with their owner. Dogs need exercise like humans do and what happends when humans stop exercising? They get out of shape and the samething can happend for dogs in fact when dogs to don't get the right exerisce, according to the ASPCA they can start acting out and destroy things at home and then when the owners gets tired of their dogs acting out, over 2 million dogs ends up in the shelters each year just because of their lacking of ability to go outside
I would certainly agree that a dog park is a beneficial addition to a community in which many residents own dogs. The particular benefits that such a public service offers should not, in my opinion, be dismissed.
I believe that a dog park would be an excellent idea for Muscatine, Iowa. Not only would a park benefit the dogs but it would benefit the owners. A dog park would help in raising and caring for the dog. Dogs should be able to play and be free in a space that they will be safe. Not everyone has the space available at their homes. Some people live in apartments that don't have the yard space needed to let the dog run around. Expecially with bigger dogs. They need a lot of room. I can understand why people would be opposed to the idea though. There's always a chance of a dog harming another animal or human. Dogs can carry diseases, fleas, lice, and other harmful things that can be transfered to humans and animals. But if you let yourself
Mountain Vista’s High school class of 2017 was able to create and elective named Dog Therapy. Which would make Mountain Vista the only high school in the Douglas County schooling area to have a dog therapy “class”. But you won’t know until you are enrolled in the class is that you will have to go through many hours of training. To only reach a .25 credit and no letter grade on your transcript. Which is a huge misfortune, because you will put just as much work in this class as you would in any other class if not more. So with the guidance of my consoler and I, we decided to propose this to the Dougal county board and to the assistant principal. With the rest of the second semester I created a Dog Therapy class proposal, and got the green light from the
Now in days anyone can buy a service vest and call there dog a service dog. Many dog owners are now discovering the option of bringing their dogs into public places without even worrying about whether their dog is welcome. This type of thing is seen all the time especially with women and small dogs being carried around in their purses. In many places such as Restaurants, hospitals, hair salons, and schools it has been noted that over the years the number of “service” dogs coming and going through there doors has increasingly gone up. Legally, there are consequences for trying to pass off a family pet as a service dog, but the legal community has found it difficult to prove which dog is a service do and which is not, due to the lack of legal registration, people are rarely being prosecuted for their offense.
Dog parks should be built in cities. Many people in cities have pet dogs with very little space to let loose. I, being from a busy city in New York can say from experience that a dog park benefits the community.
If we establish a solution by doing a dog park festival we can donate money to the organization to the dogs that are in need. Doing a dog park festival would be a great way to earn money. For instance, many children would be having fun playing games, and eating. While in the other hand many can go play with the dogs, and show how much dogs need us. By showing the community that dogs have feelings too, many would be willing to help the dogs in need. With the money the festival will raise many of the dog fighters will get a second chance. With a second chance these dogs are in for a better lifestyle which may include a loving home.
Exercise is very important to you and your dogs' mental and physical health. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, states that if a dog is not exercised enough they can act out by barking and destroying things. They also advise you that socializing your dog is very
Dogs are a lot like little kids begging for your attention except they want you to play tug of war or throw a tennis ball. While some people may say dogs are too time consuming and need too much attention it is very easy to find a dog breed that is more laidback or to play with you energetic dog by throwing a ball from the couch. The great thing about dogs is there is a dog out there for everyone and there are ways to fulfill the playtime your dog need without ever having to get up yourself if you are too tired or just aren’t in the mood. In contrast, getting up and playing with a dog is not just fun for the dog it is also fun for the owner. Playing with your dog is not just fun, but can be good exercise. Running back and forth with a puppy or dog can be tiring but is also tons of fun. Additionally, having your excited dog by your side is much more motivating to keep running and playing than a treadmill constantly alerting you of how long it has been and how far you have left to go. All the fun times and enthusiasm a puppy or dog provides while playing is another reason dogs are great
In my opinion I think that cities should have dog parks. I chose this statement not only because I love dogs, but for other reasons as well. Here are three reasons why I think cities should have dog parks.
Dog parks are a staple of urban and suburban areas, a place where dog owners can congregate and converse about the local gossip, or goings-on about the neighborhood. Over the past 12 months, a group of people have come together to propose allocating land for a dog park in Weston and tensions are running high.
Americans today are noted for their steadfast devotion to their pets. It is a running joke that the people of the United States treat their pets like their children. The United States is a country in which there is a growing appreciation for our pets, and a growing cost. According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), Americans spent $66.75 billion on their pets last year. This is a little less than double the amount pet owners spent 10 years ago (2017).
Argument for Animal Rights The argument for animal rights assumes that animals posses their own lives and deserve to be assigned rights in order to protect their wellbeing. This view insists that animals are not merely goods utilised only to benefit mankind and they should be allowed to choose how they want to live their lives, free from the constraints of man. But if animals are given absolute rights, then surely they shouldn’t be allowed to kill each other, as this would be a violation of these rights.
One in ten dogs born will find a permanent home, therefore what happens to the other nine? The other nine dogs likely will end up in traditional animal shelters only to succumb to euthanization if not adopted within a week. “A traditional animal shelter must accept, or chooses to accept, any and all companion animals regardless of health, temperament or space availability, with no limits.” (AHeinz57 Pet Rescue) A growing number of people feel that animals should not be exploited by people and that they should have the same rights as humans.
Building a dog park will cause alot of distructons in the city not only finacially but taking peace from resident who dont want to hear them barks or who dont like dogs in genaral. In my own opinion, people who live in appartments should not be allowed to have dogs due to a minimal space for the dog to excercise. If they choce to have a dog, they should be resposible to
Many people have their good or bad reasons for having a public dog park. The people need to consider that a dog park would need to be safe, pleasant, and clean. I personally would agree with not having a public dog park in my community.
