This year the presidential elections will take place at the beginning of November, and there are lots of people wondering how this is going to end. Some candidates for these presidential elections may not have been the best choice for their respective parties, but the one that really shouts, “I should not be here” is Mr. Donald Trump. His personality and actions are not the correct ones for a president because of his temper and comments against other cultures. On the other hand, we have Mrs. Clinton who is a more competent candidate; she has more experience on the field of politics than Mr. Trump who has none at all, which are the reasons why she is a better choice as a candidate and as president of the U.S.
In response to the widely unexpected and controversial election of Donald Trump the University of Maryland’s Government and Politics department hosted a panel to help staff and students understand how this happened. Additionally the panel hosts each spoke of what will happen to our government in terms of foreign and domestic policy. Each panel host had a different perspective on the matter and it made to be a very interesting discussion filled with a diverse set of opinions on how Donald Trump got elected and what it all means going forward. The speakers for the event were Irwin Morris, David Karol, Antoine Banks, Liliana Mason, Stella Rouse, Vadimir Tismaneanu, and Karol Soltan. Though there were many speakers at the event each person had a brief time to speak on the matter at hand and present their own analysis on the election.
Downgrading. That is this election in a nutshell. I have not felt more annoyed with politics and media outlets than ever before, since Donald Trump announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015 ,with those empty four words "Make America Great Again" , we learned that Trump is nothing, but a whining child that erupts on any ounce of criticism from either side. Why did he gain the support of voters with such minuet substance, like building a wall or banning all Muslims? I believe voters fell into the same trap as Bernie supporters , by appealing to people with on the spot ideas without any real consideration. The validity of free college is equivalent to building a wall paid for by Mexico, both are incompatible in the real world.
The Trump Administration has so far been unsuccessful in its efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA). From this semester’s learnings, the aspects that I believe should be repealed are the employer mandate and Medicaid expansion. Conversely, the aspects that I believe should be kept intact are pre-existing conditions, the essential benefits, and having young adults until the age of 26 on their parents’ insurance.
Trump administration is becoming more dominant than others major corporation. However, I believe that the U.S citizens do not have a word of their own opinion. In order to have a voice or an opinion, its must require being very wealthy or own a major corporation. No doubt President Donald Trump is building an Autocracy government for an example in the article "Washington issued a temporary restraining order freezing enforcement of Trump’s immigrant and refugee ban"(1) this shows the example of what kind of power the president have. According to the constitution, Donald Trump is violating the rights of Muslims because of their religion, President Trump has a sensation that all Muslims are bad.

This is truly serious, folks. The arguments equating Trump with Clinton are spurious at best. Clinton is disliked, but a huge amount of that sentiment is based on feelings, conjecture, rumor, intuition, sexism, and conspiracy theories. Donald Trump is a demagogue by definition (a political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument), who must not only be defeated but absolutely repudiated. Clinton is a highly qualified statesman whose policies are rational and pragmatic. Many of her positions are opposed by the right; that is appropriate (I am a Democrat who voted for Reagan for re-election), and it will create dialogue and compromise. There is no compromise with Trump, even
The Trump Administration has put forth a policy change limiting the right of women to obtain birth control based upon religious freedom grounds. So basically, insurance companies or employers do not have to cover birth control but at the same time it causes problems because just because someone is taking birth control does not necessarily mean that they are sexually active. One could take it for health reasons such as ovarian cyst or menstrual hemorrhaging. There’s a lot of cons about this argument because quite frankly it is no ones’ business what a woman chooses to do with her body. If it has something to do with religion then Trump should band Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs too.
If you haven't heard, the Donald is mad at the media because of the veterans charity situation and how he received millions of dollars in gifts and demanded journalists credit his act of charity. Trump calling reporters "sleaze bags" for questioning him. It seems that Trump is all about supporting veterans,
In the presidential election, pictures are often used to highlight the intensity the candidates possess for their argument. In the presidential debate, no one can argue that Donald Trump isn’t passionate, but some may argue that his passions spiral into aggressions too quickly. Trump is very particular and his emotions get the better of him when things don’t go his way. News outlets use snapshots of his aggression to focus on his vigorous goals and attitude. Considering a collection of images from Donald Trump, from recent news outlets regarding Trump’s bipolar attitude reveals that Trump is an emotionally unstable figure to lead effectively.
Why did Trump Win? When the republican presidential candidate first threw in his bid for the white house, many dread at his rhetoric. That same rhetoric has lifted him to the American presidency. The Donald Trump phenomenon is one that society may look back upon and possibly dread at the damage done to the perception of America and uncertainty of the country’s future.
In characteristic Trump-ian fashion, the businessman turned presidential candidate- and alleged sexual offender- doesn’t give a sh*t, and his campaign is going down disgracefully at best, according to anonymous- and named- sources from within the campaign.
I suggest that we take down this ban and stop the discrimination in our country. According to an article from the Huffington Post, ”President Donald Trump has repeatedly attempted to restrict travel into the U.S. in the name of national security, yet none of his administration’s travel bans would have
