On Friday morning, July 11, 2015, at about 12:15 AM, I was driving a marked squad and driving on the Wiouwash Trail. The campus area of the trail has a posted closing hour of 11 PM. I saw 2 males near the boat landing southwest of the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) and start to walk away when I shined the squad spot light on them. I then saw 4 other individuals walking away from my position. I radioed to dispatch that I would be out with the group of 6 individuals and exited my squad.

My freshman year at University of Mississippi began nearly 40 years after the school was integrated. Many families encounter the worst of sports related injuries, such as being paralyzed or even death upon playing. The NCHSAA should be more cautious upon high school athletics and make it a safer environment towards all contenders within the divisions. It is not the NCHSAA fault upon injuries, but they can make the biggest improvement upon sports to try and prevent many risky injuries. Kids will go through the pain of an injury, not to only sit and get ready to play again, but to learn an important lesson.

Christopher McCandless age twenty-two embarks on his greatest journey that will forever make him famous in his journey and death. There is the argument that Christopher was psychotic for going out into the Alaskan Wild so unprepared without any proper tools or materials. Also, Christopher should have told his parents where he was going so they would’ve known where to look for their son so he could be safer and might of had the chance to survive. What you have to understand that, Chris McCandless approached it the way he wanted to approached it because some say he is narcissistic and only does what he wants and it's true, he is but that isn't negative it's what he wants, and shouldn't we all be able to feel free to do whatever we wish.
