No one respects one another anymore, the Gay marriage thing is a sin but Jesus forgives and now Christians are being ridiculed. The Christians who think that Gay marriage is some kind of abomination are wrong too, God gave his son to save us. He loves every one of us and we aren't supposed to be judging one another, yet what are they doing? They are judging them and saying things like "you are going to Hell". The decline of America is sickening, the ones who say the Confederate flag is racist and say it should be destroyed are trying to remove history! The confederate flag represents the Americans who died for their beliefs it doesn't represent white supremacy thats a stereotypical thought. All Americans need to understand we are a nation!
Is America dead? In my humble opinion, the answer is no. You see America was built upon dreams and ideas and still is, in which were manifested among a small group of men who decided to proclaim a nation in which no one and no religion can be discriminated. On Christmas Eve in 2010, my grandmother received a gift from a hospice nurse who was assisting with my grandfather’s deteriorating health. Initially both surprised and embarrassed by the gesture, her emotions quickly changed once she removed the wrapping. A single package of Ramen Noodles was revealed. Every four years, Americans go to the polls and vote. Experts say approximately 23% of America have unregistered voters. Voting is vital. Every single vote counts on election day. The Presidential Election brings out the most Americans. Democratic and Republican parties go head to head in the race to become the nation’s president. In 2008, the presidential hopeful will be Barack Obama. He will provide citizens with affordable healthcare insurance. Obama will give tax breaks to the working class and improve the education systems.

I believe America in the 21st-century is neither. If we take a look at how we do things in America it is not rational nor is it spiritual. We have senators who advocate for a man who says Islam is a false religion. That same man has called Native Americans “Reds” and Asian Americans “Yellows.” They support him because he is a member of their party. Blindly supporting someone like that is not rational. If you don’t share the same ideologies as him, why would you support him? Another example of America not being rational. We have had the enemy of our government erected as a statue. Confederate generals and such as monuments. That’s like France having statues of Hitler. They were enemies but you want to honor and keep them. America is not rational.
In characteristic Trump-ian fashion, the businessman turned presidential candidate- and alleged sexual offender- doesn’t give a sh*t, and his campaign is going down disgracefully at best, according to anonymous- and named- sources from within the campaign.
I like to think of America as a tree. The people themselves are its leaves, the government is its branches, our freedom is its roots. Together the tree will stand tall, but if you take one of these things away the power will be become unbalanced causing all to come crashing down. Immigrants are what this country is built on; their hard work, sweat and tears. During a time span of 39 years (1881 – 1920) over 23 million immigrants migrated to the United States from all corners of the world, with a majority coming from eastern and southern European countries and even Canada and Latin America. The United States became the place where everyone wanted to be and start their life over, to have a better life for their families. In 1910, Europeans had the highest percentage of all immigrants coming to the Unites States totaling around 70%. The decline started coming started after 1914 due to war and immigration laws that began to be created by the government.
Over the course of history, many things have changed, but in recent times, in America one thing sticks out. Our countries American identity has been transformed over the past century. When our country was involved in wars and conflict, the citizens of this nation had a sort of, unity. A bond pulling them together, a common enemy. Recently, even with terrorist attacks threatening our country, millennials like myself fail to see the threat and danger of the world. We fight amongst ourselves.

Our country has fallen away from Jesus Christ. The foundation on which we were built has been destroyed, leaving us with a broken house. This nation is not living under God. The Bible, in which should determine our values and thus morals has been ignored making our nation morally corrupt. We only know the bits and pieces that are taught as we sit daydreaming in our fifth grade classroom. The Puritans, the Pilgrims, Christopher Columbus, the Mayflower, we know about these people and things, yet what aspects of their lives created the change in America? The answer to this question can be found by observing the changes in religion, women's role, and colonial law as it brought about the change in the Puritan's cultural values.
