Churches are an important part of the community. They join together for the purpose of spreading the word of the gospel and to help serve the community in times of need. In my area, there is an association of churches joined together for that purpose. The Bayou Macon-Madison Baptist Association is an organization of 36 Southern Baptist Churches that work together to do mission work, serve the church members and pastors, and other work to minister to the people.

The First United Methodist Church of Lindale has become a second family that I spend time worshiping with. FUMC Lindale has been my only church, and I began learning about Christ before I can remember. For a while, I even went to school in my church! I participated in children's programs such as BIG, sunday school, and summer camp. Growing up in the traditional service, I became a regular Acolyte. This began as a terrifying experience, but grew into a wonderful appreciation of being part of the service. Each experience within this church is valuable to myself and many others I introduced to my church. Many of them followed until Conformation where we learned about the importance and structure of our church along with Biblical text . Following
The religious movement, a break of religion all over the where the main control of the catholic church broke. The ides of marriage were altered , “by which all that is the husband's is also the wife's” to show separation from the main part of religion (Luther document 4). Where people would not just give in to the christian way , “cannot submit [their] faith either to the Pope or to the Councils... frequently erred and contradicted eachother” because of these contradictions happening between the church's ranks (Luther document 8). The monks became vile , “breaking the vows of the church by having concubines and illegitimate children” their celibacy was now non existent (Bosch document 7). Also The added religions that formed at this time , “[They] ought not, by way of custom, to speak of predestination...they become negligent in the works” which all have changed their ways of how things happen which anger other. While people break the main religion religions produce like wildfire, however the were other thing affected at this period which made life in Europe drastically different, the social and political changes. I currently attend and work at a church with 2000+ regular attendees. We currently have over 40 small groups that meet on a weekly basis. Small groups are at the core of what we do. Beginning at age 3, we believe that the small group is THE place to grow more like Jesus and practice the “one anothers” with one another.

I am part of Grace Covenant Church, which is part of an organization called, Every Nation. Every Nation has churches in Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, and America. Some folkways that I practice are going to church every Sunday and talking about the message with my family afterwards. For me, church has never been about meeting with people who think like me, it was my time to spend with God. I always preferred one on one time with God, rather than group discussion. Our church holds yearly mission trips, and frequently holds
Church and religious services are the most important aspects of the society and each person is required to devote themselves to God through their religious studies
No matter what church we went to, I was always heavily involved. Newspring was a breath of fresh air, because there were so many people, I could just do what i was gifted in. One day, I showed up to clean after a baptism sunday. They had already finished as I was just arriving. I asked if i could help with anything else and they gave me some care cards to enter in. I became an intern. Then I got an opportunity to come on staff and assist several men, and now
The patient that I interviewed is practicing Christian religion. He believes in the power of prayers and faith in God which according to him will help him become healthy again. He said that just like his brothers and sisters in prayers, only faith and trust in Jesus Christ can save him from illness. For him, his faith is more effective than any kind of medicine. He believes that life was a blessing given to him by God and that death is a natural fate of every living
As a healthcare provider, how do you need to consider your values, beliefs, cultural beliefs, and ethical core as you solve ethical dilemmas?
At my church I help clean, watch the kids, organize the youth group, plan plays, plan trips, and serve communion. Helping out at the church is one of my favorite things to do because I get to do so much. My favorite things that I do at the church are with the youth group. I organize who all needs a ride, what we will be working on that day, and the activity afterwards. I also plan the trips in the summer and which camp we will go to. And at church events I keep an eye on the kids for their parents and find things fun for them to do. I clean up after church, meetings, and events. Usually it only takes a little over an hour and a half to do. On Sundays I serve communion and sometimes I even read scripture. We do an Easter play and a Christmas play every year and I help decide what play we will do and organize the meetings and the performance
Religion plays an important role in my life. I identify as catholic, but there are some thing that me and my family don’t follow. We don't go to church often and when we do it's only for important events. This is because we’ve had bad experiences with
The role and purpose of the Church is to create a community of people who believe in the same faith of God. The Church is a foundation of the faith in God. The Church allowed people to unite on common grounds and follow the words of God. The place of worship made people feel accountable because they were in it together. The Church raised the importance of prayer and spirituality because that is how one communicates to God. The Church emphasizes fellowship, dedication to the faith, selflessness. The Church gives power to the Christian people because they are a group and not individuals anymore.
The Word of God is our medicine. If we will take our medicine daily as prescribed by our heavenly Doctor, then it will daily do the necessary work to bring or keep healing in manifestation. Don’t let reasoning, medical statistics, or any diagnosis take away the power of God’s healing Word through Jesus’ stripes.
