My main focus on pursing an Associate of Science in Teaching degree is to change lives of children and exceed their education to their extended abilities. In order to achieve these goals for children, I would have to succeed in an Associate of Science in Teaching degree to be able to take that extra step towards teaching. For me to take that step I would study hard and do whatever it will take to earn this degree. I am prepared to learn and take my studies seriously. Children are like sponges, they soak up everything you give them. I am excited to become a part of this amazing adventure with teaching. Not only will I become a teacher but I will also become a wonderful peer that the children can be glad to call their teacher. Children
With this calling to be a teacher I want to attend Appalachian State University and gain my bachelors degree in education so I can teach and impact children in a positive way. I can contribute certain qualities to the Appalachian Community like my good leadership skills and being a good listener. I can help other students with their problems by listening to them and then use my discernment to lead them in a positive decision. I love the feeling of teaching someone in a way that they can teach others. I believe that when you feel confident in yourself it makes you feel special, and that is what I want to do for people. I want to lead people into feeling confident and letting them know that they are special, because once you know that you are worth so much, you can succeed in so many ways. I want to be a good role model for my peers and future students and I think that Appalachian would be a great place for me to proceed with these
I am currently a Kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of Trust Academy. Although it is a wonderful private institution, my goal is to teach at a public school. I have chosen this career path because I am passionate about working with children, while they are developing their foundational skills. I believe that by receiving a high quality education; that goes beyond remembering and understanding, students can master the core material through analyzing and creating. This will give learners a strong base to build upon, setting students on the path to be successful in high school, and go on to be career and
I have had a lifetime goal to attend college, it just didn’t happen early in life. When I first came to CCU, there was no doubt that getting my bachelors in early childhood would be my major. My passion has always been young children. It started when I babysat as a young teenager and has continued in my life as a preschool teacher. Education is constantly changing: therefore, I feel I need to have more knowledge and wisdom to be the best teacher possible. Education is by far one of the most important tools to have a successful life. With diligence, I want to be a leading educator and to be a gateway for my students to learn. It’s exhilarating how many lives a teacher will touch each day. A teacher has the power to reach out and make learning a positive and memorable experience for every child. Furthermore, teachers are one of the first caregivers for young children. Although I am not at the beginning of my career, while at CCU, I will grow in faith, help and learn from others, and strive to graduate with honors.
Looking back at the experience I had in observing, I still have the determination to inspire others through a career in teaching. Teaching is a very diverse job that requires many skills and a lot of patience. It is important for a teacher to be able to maintain a healthy and professional relationship with their pupils, develop lesson plans that keep the attention of a majority of the students, make the atmosphere of the classroom inviting, and be a welcoming person capable of standing up in front of the class to
I hope that when I am a teacher that the kids will learn from me that learning can be fun and not a task. That there is so much to learn about that you should never be bored with learning. If they leave my class room knowing about that and the curriculum needed to succeed in my particular grade and subject. Than I accomplished everything that I wanted to.
I always thought I would be a teacher and I would make differences in lives and it would be the greatest experience in the world for me, yet being a teacher wasn’t enough, I had a need to expand my education. I decided that perhaps I needed a new career, however, I felt certain education remained my passion. I began to explore new areas of education and I realized I still want to be a member of a classroom, a school and curriculum. I aspire to guide those leading our classrooms.
I believe that education is the key in developing today’s students into tomorrow’s leaders. Education is the basis on which individuals develop their self-concept and the desire to become more knowledgeable. I want to become an educator because I am interested in helping elementary students become active learners and also to assist with their social skills. I believe I can make a difference to many students as they start their educational foundation. I feel that all teachers should possess the desire to devote their hard work and efforts to their students’ educational success. I view teaching as not only one of the most respected careers, but also as one in which the rewards are great and many
As a teacher, I want to provide protection and understanding to students so they feel free to discover and develop their skills in the classroom. I want to help students with their interest and desire to excel. The challenge for me to be a teacher involves me more than teaching is the commitment to take care of my behavior in and out of school and be a good example for
I have always wanted to become a teacher. From playing school with my little sisters, to volunteering a summer camps and elementary schools, there is not better feeling, to me, than to know that I have helped someone to accomplish a goal and develop better as a person. I think that there is no better way to impact the lives of other people than to become a teacher. As a teacher, not only will be able to affect the lives of these students from day t day, but I can also make an impact on the life of each child and hopefully their family as well.
I have always wanted to be a parent. I am a newly wed and we plan to have children in the near future. I feel that I will be a great parent because I helped raise my two sisters so I have background with helping children and meeting their needs. As a future educator, I must convince students that I care. I plan to open new doors and introduce ideas that spark interest in their souls.
I want to become someone who teaches, an educator, a role model, a teacher. I want to help children in their early childhood education. I want to become a teacher because teachers play a very big role in children’s lives. Not only do they serve as educators, but for many kids, the classroom is where they feel the safest. They feel welcomed and at home. For these certain kids it is their one place of stability where they are always guaranteed to be loved and get fed and to have fun. I enjoy watching kids grow and helping them develop their learning skills. Every kid needs a good education and I want to be the one giving them that good education. I want to make a difference in their lives and prepare them for the road ahead.
For me, the decision to become a teacher is more of a way of life than a career. I have always loved school, practicing at being school marm from a young age, and voraciously devouring every shred of education offered me in my career as a student. If it were possible, I would be a student for the rest of my life. And then I still would not have learned enough. As a teacher, I hope to instill this appetite for knowledge in secondary students. They are, after all, the future leaders of the world, and what better place to expand the minds of the generations to come than here in Appalachia where education programs, especially the sciences, which I plan to teach, are poorly funded and children’s dreams
So what do I want to be in life is probably one of the most asked question I have received so far in my childhood. Me finding a career that I would actually enjoy and actually be satisfied with is very hard. I dabbled in finding a career my whole childhood, I must have changed my career over a hundred times. But now I believe I have found the right one. The career I plan on being in is Teaching. This is a career I am pretty solid on and do not plan on changing for the next twenty years. I believe I would excel in this field.
There are many reasons why I want to be a teacher. Starting with the most important, I want to influence children positively with Christian perspectives that will help them achieve satisfaction in their life. I also would like the opportunity to coach. I believe coaches have more influence on children than teachers. I think this is true because sports are something that the
From the time I was a seven years old till the current day, as a Sophomore at Benedictine University, I have wanted to become a teacher. The four years of high school, Oswego High School, I truly become passionate to become a teacher. I took the necessary general education classes, and my elective classes learning about child development and early childhood education. Once I graduated high school, I felt confident to become a teacher, but I discovered that special education was what I truly wanted to do. From the first day or first grade up to now, I have become a success student, which I can’t wait to become teacher I want to be an aspirational teacher one day to my future students.
