I hope to strive as an independent woman that is successful in the business world. Through the Associate Student Body, I have sparked an interest in being a leader and making decisions. In business, I will continue to practice the qualities that I have adapted. Additionally, because I have had the experience of leadership, taking it into the real world will not be as difficult for me than it could be for others. College will help me further develop these skills onto a higher scale. I will be able to work alongside peers that strive the same goals as I and motivate me to be better. In college I’ll be diligent, earning good grades, and participate in on and off campus activities in order to network and build of bases of connections in order to

I believe that commitment to goals is a valuable quality I could use to contribute to the community. I plan to join clubs that UCF offer students to work with and contribute to the UCF community. I believe working with my fellow peers to be an important and enriching aspect of college life. I am always willing to help someone in need or point them in the

During my internship at the Phoenix VA I got to rotate trough a couple of rotations. I went from Mental Health Intensive Case Management program team to the Patient Alliance Care Teams. They were quite different from each other when it came to interacting with the Veterans. I utilized my critical thinking skills, insight, key concepts, and skills and techniques. I learned about different techniques for the same interventions from different social workers. I went from a long-term assigned case load to a very acute fast paced case load. One very important insight or analogy that a supervisor gave me was that to think of a digging a whole 5 feet deep and only making it a couple of inches wide and compare it to digging a whole only a couple of inches deep and making it 5 feet wide. That is a perfect example of how to look at these departments different as far as patient interaction, rapport building, engagement and assessment goes.
As I look towards the future of finishing my Bachelor Degree, I ask myself “what is it that I want to achieve and how can I make a dream a reality?” Through the years I have come to understand the role

Regardless of that fact, I still desire to be someone that any person would gladly rely on to handle their living assets, and I am pragmatic about gaining people’s’ trust. By taking advanced placement classes and summer courses that focus on a business oriented future, I can gain more competence and expertise in the field. In result of my great deal of effort, people will then be more prone in allowing me into their personal walls. Additionally, furthering my education in a university can allow me to challenge and exercise my intellectual capacity, similar to a workout, to form lasting, prominent habits. These current and future academic courses that I have and will take further prepares me like a stimulation test for capricious situations to come. This run through is the warm-up for the big race, therefore when the time arrives for me to completely reveal my potentials, I will be ready to thoroughly present myself, for people will then feel more secure with committing to my
In the near future, I expect to gain many important aspects from my college education. The first and most important thing I hope to gain from this experience is independence. In my opinion, having a successful career of your own is one of the best things you can accomplish. The best matter to never have to worry about, is depending on other people. You never know what will happen to you in the future. You always want something to fall back on something and a college diploma is the perfect answer. The last component that I hope to gain from college is a great life experience that I will never forget. This is only my first semester as a freshman, but I can already predict that college is going to give me all of these gifts.
The impact I hope to have in college is that I am helpful and someone who is easy to approach to seek help. I love helping others no matter what it is, if I have the ability to help I want to do it. I hope to be the girl with the contagious smile that makes other smile even in the darkest day. I think that just seeing someone smile or smiling toward you can help lift some sadness from someone’s day. The more you smile the better your day will be, I smile all day and I think it works.

College is a chance to be free and is a bridge between the real world and school. I’m an adult and expected to behave as such; I make my own choices where I have to decide what is important to me. I have an opportunity to learn how the world works, to explore the limitless possibilities and a chance to admire how vast knowledge can be. College will change my life in the way that I can develop life skills outside academics, to be fully
