Attitude Survey and Analysis: University Students on Sustainability in Four Dimensions of Lifestyle Introduction: The purpose of a survey instrument in the context of research is to gather data from a sample population without compromising the perspective of respondents. Therefore, the design and administration of an attitude survey must follow a number of conditions in order to achieve its intended aim. Hereafter, we discuss the design of an attitude survey intended to ascertain the perspective of university students on the presence of environmentally sustainable behaviors in their everyday lives. Purpose of the Survey: The discussion hereafter and the attached survey are focused on determining the role played by sustainability in different facets of each respondent's life. Therefore, the survey's primary purpose is to gather data that will elucidate the attitude of individual and collective respondents on sustainability in school, home, work and recreation. Preliminary Design Issues: Among the most important aspects of the survey design is the imperative to prevent the instrument from carrying any bias. This means that quite a number of variables have entered into consideration in every aspect of the survey from its size to its scope.
