We also compare the River Leith to the Bradshaw model and see if the River Leith does follow the model of a typical river. This is done by measuring 20 sites in 3 river courses, the upper course, the middle course, and the lower course, we then compare these results to the Bradshaw Model and see if the River Leith has the typical properties of a river.

The partners must do additional analysis prior to determining if they should invest in a new miniature golf venture in Golden City. Before establishing marketing objectives, advertising and promotional programs, plans for addressing demand fluctuations and considering alternate locations, they must determine if they can generate sufficient sales to fund operations. They have done market research which provides a good baseline for establishing the demand, course capacity and anticipated costs. Once they have analysed this data and established that the business is financially viable, they can address advertising, demand and location questions by developing a marketing strategy.

The purpose of this report is to geologically evaluate the potential hazards for flooding in Hazard City. The Jemez River, located in north-central New Mexico, is an alluvial stream that converges with the Rio Guadelupe. The purpose of this lab was to collect hydrologic data related to the Jemez River and the Rio Guadalupe in order to evaluate the whether the prevailing ideas about bankfull discharge are applicable to this system. The ideas that bankfull discharge is the most important factor in determining the geomorphic characteristics of the stream, and that bankfull discharge is has a recurrence interval of approximately 1.5 years were tested using field data collected and compared to real time data collected below the confluence of the Jemez and Rio Guadalupe rivers.

Shortly after joining a country club in the hills, I became addicted to golf. Golf is a traditional sport that has been around since the 15th century. There are over 35,000 different courses throughout the world with each track having its own unique layout, terrain and hazards. This leads to endless possibilities when searching for courses to challenge your skills on. Courses generally consist of nine holes or eighteen. The options are unimaginable when choosing where to play and it’s just you, your clubs, and a little white ball quietly strolling through some spectacular scenic nature. It’s an extraordinary game that can be played in so many memorable locations worldwide.

I enjoyed the opportunity to conduct this short visit at Wellesley Country Club with Mr. Sansone on May 19, 2016. It was good to see the golf course in such good condition with negative impacts from the winter season. The turf was in good agronomic condition as we head into the summer season.
The attitudes displayed by employees at West Lake Golf Course towards customers directly affects how successful the business is. The employees that support positive attitudes when dealing with customers play a huge role in how many golfers enjoy themselves. Happy golfers will always return to a course. Alternatively, West Lake employees with inferior attitudes will discourage patrons from returning. Finally, there are the employees that consistently have positive encounters with customers, but fail to get any work accomplished because of their attitude towards work. West Lake golfers will always return for excellent customer service before they return for the game of golf because attitude
