I have just finished reading your book, along for the ride, and would like to tell you what I thought was the best part of it. The following aspects really stood out to me. Protagonist: Auden West would be the protagonist not only by being the main character, but also by trying to complete the quest of her life. Antagonist: Victoria West is the antagonist by being the opposing force to her daughter, and tries to stop Auden from finding her true self. Setting: The setting of along for the ride is set in a small town named Colby that is next to the ocean during the beginning of summer and until the end. Internal Conflict: Auden internally fights herself about her parents divorce and a broken heart. External Conflict: Auden battles the fact
Willie, the antagonist of the story accidentally makes Bobby overcome his fears and stand up to him. In a way Willie could be a protagonist because he helps Bobby overcome his fears. Willie is a crazy person that doesn't know what he is doing.
The character I have chosen in the book, Downriver, is Troy. The reason for me to pick Troy was because he was the oldest and seemed to know what he was doing. Troy is the character who wants to be in control. There were three events that happened to him where I feel his character shined.

Creon demonstrates being the protagonist based on making key decisions, experiencing consequences, and affecting the circumstances.
The setting of the book begins at a summer camp in Prescott, Arizona called Box Canyon Boys Camp. This setting is important and adds meaning to the story because if it did not take place at the summer camp none of the main characters would have met each other, and the book would take place somewhere else.

He is a former employee of the boss who comes by the office to visit once a week. The two men usually talk, catch up, and enjoy each other’s company. Mr. Woodifield is not in great health because of a stroke.
