Right after Aurora Marie Easley was born the doctor did the Apgar score on her to know if she is a healthy baby or not. APGAR scoring is based off of heart rate, respiration, muscle tone, reflexes and skin tone. Then if Aurora gets a total of seven or more than she would be considered in good physical condition, a total of four to six she would need special attention and a total of three or less her life is life-threatening. However, Aurora scored a total of ten, she weighted eight pounds and was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. It’s been four days, one week since me and hubby left the hospital with our precious Aurora. Out days as been breathe taking and also restless. Like any other baby Aurora has newborn reflexes, such as the ability to naturally blink, root, step, palmar, suck, moro and babinski. Which is interesting because hubby and I does not have to teach her because she naturally does it already. Within zero to six months Aurora can be still in a fetal posture, put her chin up, chest up, reach around, sit with Justin or my support, sit on our laps, grasp object and sit on her purple high chair grasping for dangling objects. So far she has improved her motor skills. Then within seven to fifth months Aurora started sitting alone, stand with help, stand holding furniture, creep, walk when we led her, pull to stand by furniture climb stair steps, stand alone with no help and walked alone. Now she has reached her toddler stage where she no longer need us to support her up or carry her. Her motor skills keeps improving day by day grasping everything and anything she can get her hands

Louise Erdrich was born the first of seven children on June 7, 1954. Her mother was a Chippewa Native American and her father was German American (Fields). Erdrich was raised in Wahpeton, North Dakota where she was raised to value and preserve the Chippewa culture. Her family was considered eccentric by the community, and both of her parents taught at a Bureau of Indian Affairs boarding school. | There are many physical developments that a child starts to develop by 6months. Some of these include; being able to turn their heads when they hear sounds or see movements, when they are being fed they can stare at the adult’s face, when they hear a familiar voice they will smile, put whatever they have into their mouth and be able to hold and shake a rattle.
The five tests are simple and quickly determine the health of the baby. The tests can be performed by a doctor, nurse, or midwife. The first test consists of checking the respiration effort of the baby. Crying is scored at a 2 on the Apgar Score, labored or irregular breathing is a 1, and absence of breathing is a 0. The second test performed is the most crucial: the heart rate.
Edith Frank was born in Aachen on January 16, 1900. She was born Edith Hollander. Edith had two older brothers and one older sister. Her family celebrates the Jewish holidays. She was a good mother and went to any lengths for her children. When she married Otto they had a Jewish wedding. Her family was not as wealthy but was still comfortable with the money they had. Her and Anne did not have a very good understanding though Edith did try to find comfort in Anne’s close relationship with her father.
