Coal is currently one of the biggest issues facing Australia as it producing too much fossil fuel. As stated by Todd woody, Wind turbines are sourcing 30 percent of Australia’s energy production, and today is one leading renewable energy projects the country it self has to offer, this statement I believe is overly correct and is why I believe that wind turbines are a lot more environmentally friendly than coal burning. Current efforts to minimize global warming are based on the expectation that the people across the globe will agree to and toward a sustainable and eco friendly future. The aim is to improve the balance between coal emissions and fossil fuels. As you may already know the government is working on a program called RET (Renewable Energy Target) which is that the government wants to source as much energy as possible from energy efficient sources. As stated by (future energy 2007) wind energy has proven to be one of Australia’s most useful energy makers. A Wind turbine creates reliable, cost-effective, pollution free energy. It is affordable, clean and sustainable. A Wind turbine is non-polluting and renewable, they create power without producing any fossil fuels. Rumours have gone around stating that the gold coast could be powered by non-pollutant sources, I believe that wind turbines could be powering every single home across the gold coast.
