Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Introduction I don 't think people understand how unique children with Autism are or the demands of caring for a child with Autism is. In order to grasp the effect of this disability has on a child or their family it is important to understand the characteristics of a child living with Autism.
So for you to understand I will be talking about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or
Autism in a childs life. I will be talking about what autism is, the history and description of autism, affected ages 0-6, Symptoms and signs, medical treatment and help, how you would assess a child with autism, long term effects for a child with Autism, taking care of a child with autism. By acknowledging all these things I believe that you and I will gain a greater respect and sense of understanding for children or anyone with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I will be sharing information about each topic I have outlined in my introduction explaining the meaning and how it affects each child with autism.
