I’d like to tell you a story about a lady named Cindy. In this story she is thirty five, a divorcee with two children. She was a methamphetamine and speed addict in high school, and once she became a mother used them so much more. She said it made her feel good, like she could do or be anything and get everything done. It is commonly believed that women more often use this methamphetamines and speed, because they are expected to do all things all the time. They are expected to care for kids, their jobs, cooking and look good all of the time. Speed helped her stay thin because it kills off the feeling of hunger. (SAMHSA)

Now before you get too comfortable with the simple little title listen up buttercup and allow me to let you in on a little secret. I’m not what you would call a nice guy I might walk the walk, but deep down once you get to know me on a comfortable level I can come off as a dick and often times I don’t think before I talk. It’s good that I’m getting this out of the way because according to Mary Karr in her book titled “The Art of Memoir” she mentions that “the best writers make you feel they’ve disclosed their soft underbellies." Which I believe highly qualifies my memory as a memoir due to the fact that I’m being honest and I’m being myself. I believe that I have given my all into this paper disclosing to you about my personal love life. Now before you read on into my so called “exciting” life allow me to give you a bit of a warning I may or may not say something that might offend you and if you are one of those that gets easily offended, I highly advice you to put this paper down and walk away just pretend you never even laid eyes on it. Now for you brave souls that are still reading this then congratulations, you have passed and you are ready to read about my dysfunctional life.
In the case of Cindy Countess, severely mentally ill best fits her, because she had been “prescribed to Paxil to help in her mental illness that was like her mom” (FilmRise). According to Dr. Heide, “severely mentally ill offender suffers from irrational thinking and behavior” (CriminologyTV). Countess clearly was thinking irrationally after taking Paxil and that led to her behavior of mixing Paxil with alcoholic drinks and from there killed her mom in the bathroom. In my opinion, the best verdict for Countess would be second degree murder, because it was a killing done impulsively without premeditation. Countess also did not recall her killing towards her mom, due to the amount of Paxil that she took in addition to having alcoholic drinks

This passion started from about seventh grade and is still around for her. She stated that even though her current residence is “small and little”,it

A man can give money to the homeless on the same day as …... . Barbara Lazear Ascher wrote a piece called “On Compassion” stating that through people's own experiences, they learn compassion with the trouble right next to us. An argument that has merit, but only to a certain extent. Experiences of the individual will have them learn compassion on their own, but having the unfortunate in our faces will not guarantee a person to learn compassion. In fact, it may do the opposite and create hostility as all of us are imperfect.
