"Ava... Ava." I hear my name being called and I groan at the intrusion of my sleep. I turn over to my side and bring the blankets up, covering my face completely from the morning sun. Why did I stay out so late last night? "Don't make me dump cold water on you." Amy warns me, yet I doubt she would dare to do such thing. "If you don't get up you will be late for your dance practise." That woke me up completely. I check my cell phone and see I am already ten minutes late. I hurry to my closet and reach for a pair of black yoga pants and a pink shirt. I grab my ballet shoes and race out of the room Amy and I share. I rush across campus to the dance studio, praying that Ashton is still there. Yet, as I open the door an unknown person welcomes me. He is sitting by the piano looking through a book. I have never seen him before. I walk into the room slowly. Perhaps I heard the time or day wrong? …show more content…
He is wearing a simple long black sleeve shirt and light blue jeans. I take a good look at him. He is very attractive with gorgeous blue eyes and messy blond hair. "Hello?" I nod my head and finally answer his question. "Yes, I'm supposed to meet my partner here. But I must of had gotten the time wrong." I say, about to head back out the doorway. Until I hear Ashton. "I'm here, sorry I slept in." He says placing his hands along his knees, "I ran all the way here." he is breathing heavy. I think we have more in common than I thought. "Well should we? I have someplace to be." The guy on the piano says sounding very rude. He stood there, tapping his
Currently I find myself on the planet Almas. It is here that Akial was last spotted. He was teacher at the Jedi academy. Where he most likely lived a leisurely lifestyle. However, after the Republic was brought down, my dear father was pushed to live a life on the run. I first found out about his status as a teacher here on Almas from a couple of wandering tradesmen while I was still enslaved by the Hutts.
Luna agreed, “She has always been a very hard working lady and she did it on her own. She is admirable.” Taking a moment to think of a better reply, Luna returned, “As a family, my great grandparents were our true Heroes. Would it not have been for them we would not have moved or have what we have today.”
“Okay. Okay. Tell them I’ll be right there… No, no I was, um, I was just sleeping.”
She brought out a Blue ruby charm. she held in her hands and began to so some word in a different language. the Chrystal began to glow a bright white light. then whoso Avanah opened her eyes and was in a great hall lined with various statues. There was a thick velvet carpet on the floor and marble under the carpet. She was home she walked into the living room where her father stood waiting. In the snowy streets of a small, unpretentious village, a youthful little girl is skipping around. She abruptly comes to a halt by a wall which is absolutely covered with a large variety of numerous different names. Grabbing a broken piece of chalk from a ledge, she transcribes her first name, Alma, in cursive. An exact doll replica of Alma emerges through the window of the building behind her, which appears to be a toy store. Shocked, she creeps closer to the doll, step by step.
Four years and three schools later, and I’m still standing. Thank You to my wonderful parents, for putting up with me. Honestly, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. Ma, I know you’ve been to hell and back with me, but MAMA I FINALLY MADE IT! Thank You to my amazing sister, you’ve been my rock this whole time. I know I don’t tell you enough, but thank you so much. To my un-biological sister, Jamie, I love you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you for putting up with me for 12 years, I love you so much Jwoww. Shoutout to my Holy Cross sisters. You taught me to live every day with Courage, Compassion, and Scholarship. Long live Lide English 1, always remember Thea Kreis, and Ouellete Advisory
It’s always my opinion that nothing can ruin a good villain quicker than a backstory. I am not saying that I don’t want to know anything about them, but when you start trying to justify why your villain is doing what they are doing, most of the time I lose interest. While I realize this backstory was supposed to give us insight into Levana’s character, I don’t ever think I wanted it. She was this evil entity set on world domination, did it really matter what her motives were? Even when I did get her backstory, I really couldn’t fine myself sympathizing with her all that much. If anything, it made me see her as a less competent villain, which I will explain under the cut since it concerns spoilers.
“You stupid bitch,” she said as she stood in front of the grave stone crying, her voice cracking, “Why didn’t you listen to me?” Anna felt like her heart had shattered. She should have stopped her, she shouldn’t have let her put that needle in her arm; she was supposed to be watching Melody. She fell to her knees and remembered the funeral.
I could not do it; not without speaking to Eva. I couldn’t leave the earth without settling this affair of the heart. I apologize for that scare Sixsmith. I could not possibly die not knowing how well Cloud Atlas Sextet lived on. Mr. Van de Velde may want to banish me from this town forthwith, but I refuse to leave before meeting with Eva and V.A. one last time.
She kept looking at the old school bus, that everybody hated, but she admired it with love. As she stepped off she saw all of our eyes gazing down at her through the window, then everyone ran back away. I was so overjoyed that we were going to get a new student today. I heard rumors mumbling around the classroom, but then when she stepped in everyone stopped at once.
Growing up my family was poor. born in 1965 so I was six when it happened, I remember when I first consumed it. I was sitting outside looking at sky as my brothers Azzat and Azyan ran around chasing each other care free. my name was Azzaa it means female gazelle I guess my parents thought I was going to be graceful or beautiful but all gazelles get eaten by the lion. As my mother called us in for dinner and I slowly walked to the kitchen I never tore my eyes off the blue sky. She handed me a bowl of rice and sauce. I gigged at the color of my dinner it reminded me of the red sky.
How could I have slept so long? I yawned big, rolled out of bed, and opened my door. The house sounded empty.
I don’t see the point of calling you “Mother” neither of us felt like you belonged in that role. Nor do I have a habit of showing respect when I don’t think it’s deserved. At least that’s one thing the journalist could use to spark sympathy for me. At least I’m honest. It’s a shame the same can’t be said for you.
I don't know exactly what to say. If you're reading this you probably know Vira and I aren't together anymore. I love Vira and I always considered her family. I feel that you are family too. I realize that the end of our relationship affects others too, including you and my sister. I want you to know from the bottom of my heart, that I hope you still come over for dinner, watch shows with us and just have a good time. I may not be with Vira, but I don't think that changes how any of us feel about you.
I awakened to mosquito bites on my legs. I bounced up in surprise waking Aria, she jolted up.
