Aviation Technician

An Army National Guard Aviation Technician is professional expert in his or her technical art or skill. We adhere to our moto “People First. Mission Always!” printed on our technician handbook (2009). Riots, floods, hurricanes, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, search and rescue, and border patrol are just some of the many missions duel status Army aviation techs have done during peacetime thru the years. Flight nurse’s and Flight Paramedics performs as members of an aeromedical crew on helicopters (rotor wing), and airplanes (fixed wing) aircraft, providing for in-flight management and care for all types of patients. Responsibilities of this job include the planning and preparation of flight, safety, evaluation of an individual patient's in-flight needs and request appropriate medications, supplies, and equipment to provide continuing care from origination to the destination facility. They act as liaisons between facilities during an interfacility transport and from scene location to trauma center during medical and trauma related emergencies. They also initiate emergency treatment in the absence of a physician during in-flight medical emergencies. Flight nurses and Flight Paramedics have training in mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic support, vasoactive medications, airway, and other intensive care skills.

What is an Automotive Technician?An automotive technician is someone who works on and fixes vehicles. My career choice is to be an Automotive Technician. Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Dallas is the college of my choice because of their reputation and their teaching techniques. I want to eventually become a master mechanic, but that takes time. Pilots navigate airplanes and take there passengers to there destinations. Sometimes they go on trips that take days or even weeks. There is many different types of pilots but in order to be the pilot you want to be you need to go to college and get your education. When working in this job you need proper schooling as well you cannot just jump in and work on a car you need proper training. Mechanics have lots of duties on the job in which involves a lot with computers and repairing parts for the client’s car. Mechanics earn a very good salary that continues to grow with the more experience you get in the job. Automotive Technicians is a great career to have because you work with many tools to figure out the problem, you get a good paying job, and you will never have to worry about getting a job because mechanics are needed everywhere.
