I would like to ask you for a letter of recommendation for me to put into my application to become a First Sgt. I hope to become a First Sgt because I have a strong desire to work towards something greater than myself, I want to work with and help Airmen become more than they thought they could and to grow as individuals as well as become better citizen Airmen. I have a wide variety of military and civilian experience that I think are beneficial skills to have as a First Sgt.

Freshman 101 is a class adapted from the parrot program (Fay & Medway, 2006, p. 226). The parrot program was designed for college students at Cornell University. Freshman 101 is the first of its kind in the state of South Carolina and the first to extend Parrot’s college program to high school freshmen (p. 226). Each two-hour intervention class contained 25 to 30 freshmen students. The objectives of the class were to have participants understand the definition of acquaintance rape and the frequency that it takes place along with South Carolina’s laws regarding rape (p. 226). Students also learned about mixed messages associated with verbal and non-verbal communication and how to clearly state their wants and desires (p. 227). Communication,
As a 30-something going back to (or already back in) school you may be in one of the following situations:
Throughout my high school career I have taken several rigorous classes in order to test my academic ability. However, my school has not given me the opportunity to take a particular type of course commonly found at other other high schools around the country: Advanced Placement. Rochester High School does offer thirty-eight honors classes, but these lack the prestige of AP courses. The difficulty and curriculum of an honors course varies by school and by state, so universities cannot fully understand a student’s course load when this type of class appears on his or her transcript, especially when the applicant is from out-of-state.
Your senior year was a wild, crazy mess. You started off the year not wanting to go to school to see Karson because you couldn’t handle it. You even left school some days when he would show up. You let your dumb self try again with Karson and it failed. You got hurt, and even cried.... A lot. You meet the love of your life, Kyle, and still talk to him even though you guys aren’t together right now. You both hope to reconnect after you finish your second year of college. Keep talking to him, don’t let him get away from you. You have had it tough this year, but by the end of the year you didn’t let anything affect you. Your grades were A’s and B’s all year. You made some amazing new friends like, Chandler, Clayton Ecker, Collin and more boys
During the summer between my sophomore and junior years, I was one of four students selected to represent my school and council at the National Josten’s Renaissance conference in Orlando Florida. My fellow students and I learned a great deal about other schools around the country and we wanted to take some ideas back to our school to implement them. One of our key ideas focused on recognizing various students at our high school that constantly achieve remarkable feats, but largely go unnoticed by the school as a whole. Being vice president of my class, I took charge of this initiative and designed a solution to the problem. I advocated that we replace our typical, mundane, class meetings with class rallies, a pep rally type atmosphere for more
Sophomore year is going to get tougher as you go on, but there will be many room to have fun, like the assemblies. Dont give in to video games, like last year. I will not play League of Legends or any other games until I finish my homework and studies. My days of being a procrastinator master is over. Remember back when you stayed up till 3:00 studying or doing a project at the last minute. Doing everything the day they are assigned makes your life more stress free. I wouldn’t be tired and have a mood swing while doing my homework, and then sleep for a few hours, and waking up feeling like poo.
Sophomore year in general has been treacherous . Now it's become harder trying to manage work while studying for finals, Eoc and keeping up with work. Nowadays, I find myself wishing to be back in elementary school. A memory that has been engraved to the deepest part of my brain is one of my teachers telling me of the importance of flushing and cleaning up after the mess that I create. I can’t believe that I once thought that elementary school was difficult. Let’s ignore the fact that my English wasn’t that good in elementary school, now that I’m actually reflecting on the time that I spent in elementary school, I can truly see how simple everything was. For example, I had to write my weekly vocabulary words thrice. But, this is the real world. We aren’t given the chance to go back in time just because we wish to relive certain periods of our lives.
August 24, 2016 is the day I started my senior year. I been waiting for this moment my freshman year of high school. I couldn't wait for this moment to come. The first day of my senior year I went to my homeroom to get scheduled for 2015-2016 year. Then couldnt wait to get my senior I.D so i can go off campus eat. Once i get that senior I.D, I know that i'm officially a senior at Elsik. This was my last year playing football. That mean I had to go out with a bang. I played my last home game at Krump against Hasting. Hasting is the worst football team that I played against. I had to ball out that game and I and i did . That moment was sad for us senior because that was our last pep rally as a football team. When we went to playoffs. We were
Senior Year… A beautiful ending to some of the longest, hardest, and most difficult years I will ever have to face. Well at least until my senior year of college. It feels like forever since I first step foot in the high school in my hometown. I started this long journey at Columbia City High School as a freshman and sophomore. Then, for my junior year, I chose to study dance. Having a year off of my education was pretty stressful, but it was the best option for me at the time, and I definitely do not regret it. For my senior year, I found Marion High School. MHS has a partnership with Community School for the Arts, giving me many opportunities through my academics and arts.
Hello everyone, my name is Margaret and this is my third semester of my HITT degree. I am from Ecuador and came back to school after many years. I have three kids and everything I’m learning is helping me already to be a better mom and to show my kids that education is always important. I really wish us all a great and rewarding semester…
“Time flies by when you’re having fun”, I never thought this quote would mean so much to me until now. This quote was repeated constantly my junior year and now I realize the true meaning of it. All the years I’ve spent in school have led up to this point, my senior year. As my last year in high school begins, and soon ends, I have a lot of decisions to make, and goals to set. Keeping high grades, going to FBLA nationals, and making my teachers proud are a few of my senior goals.
