The Science Investigatory project determines the possibility of the variety of the inner banana peel and ipil-ipil leaves as shoe polish. This variety of banana peeling compared to other kinds of bananas in particular to the kind of banana called Lacatan is tested to be the most effective kind. Same as the ipil-ipil leaves that become effective because of the properties it has.

Is it possible to make a shoe polish out of banana peelings, Ipil-ipil leaves and baby oil? What is the component of each that considers them as one of the ingredient in making this shoe polish?

C. Significance of the study

The significance of the study to the researchers is to be able to make an alternative and organic shoe polish. The significance of the study is to be able to use a safer and greener shoe polish with the use of Banana peel, Ipil-Ipil leaves and Baby oil.

D. Scope and limitations
The researchers’ project: Banana peel and Ipil-Ipil leaves shoe polish, will only concentrate on the organic ingredients Banana peel, Ipil-Ipil leaves and Baby oil.
