What is your definition of golf? Golf is about being able to play in a large open grass field area; where an individual can use a golf club to hit a golf ball into a series of small holes in the ground to score points from a distance. The importance of each club varies from using a pitching wedge, the irons from four to eight, and the driver. Golf is a special sport because one is expected to spend 4-5 hours playing it; which is a very long time to be burning calories and engaging one’s brain. It's not like most sports out there where one plays intensively for an hour or two and responds actively to what's going on. Rather one has to change their concentration on and off for (typically) 86 times per round and at the same time carry out physical actions; which greatly depends upon how well one has gotten ready for it. To pick and take the best shot, one has to line up properly, choose the right club, check out the greens and so on and after that make a smooth swing and do this for 4-5 hours.
