Soccer and basketball are two popular sports that are very well known to the American society and the world. While soccer is more known world wide than basketball, basketball still maintains one of the top spot in american popularity polls. These sports share a lot in common while still containing noticeable differences. When discussed, the two athletic events both bring compelling arguments to argue as to why one is better than the other. Although soccer and basketball are both very lovable sports, once understood and participated in, soccer as it has qualities that out match basketball in the areas that people adhere to the most.
