The guardian Angels(mil) start to provide medical assistance to the injured men and have to travel two miles to a safe landing zone. There is only one problem, the equipment these Combat medics are carrying packs weighing up to “one-hundred and sixty pounds”(livescience). Without the reduction of the weight of the equipment, these professional soldiers can’t perform their job. If only those soldiers had high tech gear like Batman to get the job done, unless there is? In the setting of life and death, Batman’s suit could very well be the difference in someone’s outcome. Of course, there isn’t an actual suit nor a Batman, but there is a Department of Defense project nicknamed BATMAN that is designing technology to be used by pararescuemen and …show more content…
has gotten itself involved in the past, the number of those that have been killed is not as high of a number as it once was. As time has moved on, wars got more spaced out and strategic. “A military program named for and inspired by the superhero Batman is bringing together advanced technologies to equip U.S. Special Forces soldiers for the 21st century.”(nbc). In our day and age wars are fought by small battles at strategic positions. Whichever side is more technologically advanced tends to be the winner. With the New Batman technology, that puts the U.S. at an advantage for soldier mobility and effectiveness. We all know Terminator and how to not place all our trust in the safety of machinery is a common belief, but we are heading into an age where the modern war is a battle for the Information Age. With the incoming discoveries and research of exoskeletons, software, and computers it becomes clear that we are close to creating what most of us would know as, Iron Man. “While exoskeletons make for great headlines and fanciful hypothetical scenarios, the reality for now is more mundane.” (bbc) With great power comes great responsibility. Because the technology of war is requiring more expensive equipment, it is requiring the better training of soldiers. The Batman is clearly a jump in the use of medical technology in todays day. Because of the advance equipment, the cost of it all leaves taxpayers wondering about what would be a more effective way to spend millions of dollars. As of the moment this technology is only used by Pararescuemen who are a type of Special Forces within the Air Force. When this technology branches out to other less specialized units, how can we trust that they will fully take care of this pricey
Although Superman is unable to be controlled or contained, Batman is much to unpredictable and goes well outside of the law to get what he needs. Superheros are the fictional embodiment of all of our greatest aspirations, they are also a symbol of hope and give families a lightness in times of hardship or struggle. Sometimes people need something to take their attention off of everyday things. From the day we are able to walk, people want to run, but what happens after we run? We want to run faster, jump or even fly. As people we naturally want to be able to do more. Since we can’t do these thing that we all dream about doing, people write and tell stories about people that can do the things we can’t.

With Trump’s election this year, his rhetoric of “Making America Great Again” and therefore revitalizing our military will soon become a reality. Trump has formally requested a reappropriation of funds; around $54 Billion, towards the US military. Part of Trump’s campaign promises had to do with making the military more robust; ensuring America’s title of militarily strongest in the world. In order to achieve this goal. Trump’s federal government has the option of many different aspects of the military to focus on. Of these, funding weapons of mass destruction, cyber security, and further military research and development prove themselves as most relevant in the contemporary military.
Lastly, Bruce Wayne uses his massive wealth and intelligence to build gadgets, utilities, and tools all in an effort to stop villains—most of whom are not mortal. We have to realize that Batman is still a mortal man, and can be killed if due so. Therefore, not only does he have the intelligence to build whatever to defeat his foes, but he also has the cunningness to defeat them as well. This is evident in the Batman television series from 1966 to 1969, with Adam West. Moreover, many of these works that he creates has also caused him lots of pain and trouble that he self-situated himself in. One of the key examples is him battling Bane, where all his utilities has no use, and he was pummeled by him.
The artistic representation of the Batman myth is an important cultural artifact of our time because it represents modern society's thirst for heroic ideals in popular entertainment. Since his creation, readers and viewers have admired Batman's unique ability to battle villainy, transcend the law and administer justice. As cultivators of the noir genre in film as well as in literature, Americans have always identified with this enigmatic hero, who exists on the margins of society and yet represents one of the largest corporations in the world. The evolution of Batman in particular and the superhero genre in general (from comic book to television to film and back again) has seen in the latest adaptation from Christopher Nolan's Batman revamp a veritable tilting point for the character once known as the World's Greatest Detective. This paper will analyze why Batman is an important cultural artifact of our day, how he came into being, what he means for society, and how he will be treated in the future.
In this dissertation I will discuss how DC Comics have developed and improved the design of their comic books since their establishment in 1937. I will compare comics from past and present and talk about the different styles of comic books that have been released from the company. I will also talk about how the artwork from the comic books have influenced character and costume design in recent DC Comic films. I will do this by studying the history of the company and researching the designers behind the comic books. I will thoroughly research in detail the characters and the designs of their costume and equipment and compare them to the different films that have been released over the years. The main character I will look into is Batman. I will study the origins of the character, the man behind the character, the reason behind Batman’s creation, how he has changed over the years, the development of other characters in the series, the famous villains that Batman has had to face, the different costumes he has had over the years and I will also be researching and studying how Batman has become a national icon in American society, and the effects the character has had on people living in the country. Batman
He does vigilantism, but his notoriety about extra human violence and power oppression raises more issues about what he is doing, whether it's the right direction or the morality sign. Batman shouldering the huge weight of being a great icon of hope and justice leads not only to moral quandaries but also to the mixed feelings he

There are several things you need to have if you are going to be Batman. The one thing the person behind the mask would have to have is, money to be able to gain access to new and fresh technology. The person would also need to know a scientist or technician that knows how to make cool and creative weapons he would need to fight the villains, if he could not do it himself. This person would also need to be pretty
For everyone the resonation with Batman’s heroics is something imaginable so the presentation of facts and a solution allow Tauriq to leave his audience satisfied in how they view the ironic relationship of Batman and the
Batman's a whole other story. The filmmakers have worked out the mask problems from the previous film; Bale fills the suit with grace and danger. His voice is disguised as well - it's now a bass-heavy synthesized whisper. The character seems more than ever an extension of his high-tech toys (like the neat-o Bat-scooter that pops out of the Batmobile at one point, ecstatically rearing up like the Lone Ranger's Silver). He represents a citizen's darkest urges, though, and it eats at him. He's Dirty Harry crossed with Hamlet.
Though Batman tries to be portrayed as a hero, he is only a vigilante since he helps the law, but is not a part of it. This means that he fights crime, but is not a member of the police force or other civil duties that
Batman is the main protagonist in the Dark Knight and is widely considered a superhero. However Nolan does not portray the batman known from the DC universe. Nolan portrays a hyper realistic Batman that is limited to mostly technology that we have in our real world. Batman makes his first appearance in a parking garage. The Russian mob is negotiating a drug deal with the scarecrow. The sale is interrupted when some batman imposters begin firing at the Russian mob. The real Batman arrives on the scene and bends the rifle of the Batman imposters and knocks him out. This is actually quite a surprise that he knocked out an innocent person. Normally a superhero does everything he can to prevent any injury to a civilian. This was the first indication that the batman is not really a “superhero”. A superhero does not hurt civilians. Batman catches the imposters and the scarecrow and ties them up together. The tied up imposters ask batman “what gives you the right, what’s the difference between me and you”. Batman replies, “I’m not wearing hockey pants”. Batman justifies
Batman is one of the many fictional superheroes which appears in the “American comic books” that is published by the DC comics. The character is a secret identity for Bruce Wayne, the only heir to Wayne Enterprises. Bruce Wayne swore an oath of vengeance when he witnessed the death of his parents;Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne (Diamond, 2015). Bat man combats criminals in Gotham: a fictional city, with assistance from various characters, for example, his butler Alfred and Gordon; Gotham city police commissioner. Unlike many of the superheroes characters, Batman possesses no powers .Bruce Wayne trained himself intellectually and physically .it is from dedication to training he possessed the useful traits of physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective skills and indomitable will to fight for justice. Though his motive is to combat crime and protect people of Gotham city from criminals, the justice system in most of the times views Batman as a villain and vigilante. He can inflict fear to Gotham city criminals thereby bringing calmness to the city. I identify myself with the Batman character through his selfless will for justice, his strong determination to do good
