Without the reduction of the weight of the equipment, these professional soldiers can’t perform their job. If only those soldiers had high tech gear like Batman to get the job done, unless there is? In our day and age wars are fought by small battles at strategic positions. Whichever side is more technologically advanced tends to be the winner. With the New Batman technology, that puts the U.S. at an advantage for soldier mobility and effectiveness. We all know Terminator and how to not place all our trust in the safety of machinery is a common belief, but we are heading into an age where the modern war is a battle for the Information Age. With the incoming discoveries and research of exoskeletons, software, and computers it becomes clear that we are close to creating what most of us would know as, Iron Man. “While exoskeletons make for great headlines and fanciful hypothetical scenarios, the reality for now is more mundane.” (bbc) With great power comes great responsibility. Because the technology of war is requiring more expensive equipment, it is requiring the better training of soldiers. The Batman is clearly a jump in the use of medical technology in todays day. Because of the advance equipment, the cost of it all leaves taxpayers wondering about what would be a more effective way to spend millions of dollars. As of the moment this technology is only used by Pararescuemen who are a type of Special Forces within the Air Force. When this technology branches out to other less specialized units, how can we trust that they will fully take care of this pricey
