Through the beginning of “Batman Begins”, the creators of the movie used flashbacks to detail the journey of Bruce Wayne and how he has changed from the beginning of the movie to the end. By showing the flashback of Bruce Wayne in the car with Rachel, the creator of the movie managed to show the audience where Bruce Wayne stood on a moral level and how he was the complete opposite of what he came to be as the movie progressed. In the car scene, Rachel tells Bruce that his father would be ashamed of him for considering murder as a form of justice and a way to make a change. The use of flashback also played a role in how Bruce overcame his fear of bats and managed to make it into a symbol.

The film begins with Bruce Wayne, Batman, recalling his parent’s murder. We are introduced to an older dark Batman who brands and kills criminals. Throughout the film, we are reminded of the destruction that superman has caused in Metropolis when he indirectly destroyed the city. Lex Luthor takes advantage of the situation by manipulating Batman to hate Superman (Clark Kent), and capturing Superman's mother forcing the heroes to fight each other. Furthermore, the character Bruce Wayne, in Batman v Superman (BVS), illustrates a clear example of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of evidence of flashbacks, impulsive behavior and his inability to sleep.

Batman Returns is a movie based on the fight between the penguin and batman on taking over the city with interference by the cat woman. The penguin is messed up from his childhood of nobody wanting him or making fun of him because he looked like a penguin. So, he moved down in to an artic theme park to raise an army of clowns and penguins to eventually try and take over the city. Also, a new mayor election was being held so he plotted one of his clowns to steal the mayors kid and then save him to get in with the new mayor and act like the hero of the city. All along batman knew what his plan was but kept getting stopped by cat woman. She and batman were in love during the day and enemies at night without even knowing it. Then batman eventually stops the penguins from blowing up the city with missiles strapped to their backs and kills the penguin. The penguin displays so many types of psychological awareness, they are: unconscious awareness, sociocultural psychology, cognitive psychology, and sociocultural belief.

In a movie where good and evil are divided by a very thin line, the Dark Knight rises up to fight against injustice and corruption in Gotham City. An action sequel to the original Batman Begins, this installment is a lot darker filled with more explosion, twists, and suspense. For the first time, a comic has been integrated into the issues of the real world. With the help of District Attorney Harvey Dent and Lieutenant Gordon, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining mob members and clean the streets of Gotham for good. Their success is only short-lived when they encounter the Joker, a mysterious mastermind who is out to prove that nobility cannot hold in a world of anarchy.

In one of the Batman movies, Bruce Wayne goes to see a psychologist to get help for this need to be Batman. He describes how he wants to get better and be himself but there's something stopping him. Him being Batman does interfere with his everyday life. Also, it is the "host" that is seeking for help and not his other identity (Durand/Barlow 163). It looks as if because of his "night job," it is more difficult to find love. He must be wary at all times to make sure that the woman does not have a motive.

Throughout the movie, Bruce Wayne continues to distance himself from society as Batman. While attending the hotel party Rachel confronts Bruce about doing more for the city. He tells her he is now a better person but doesn’t allow her to know he is Batman. Even the closest to him he chooses not to let know what he is doing for the city. Next when in the warehouse with Jim Gordon they team up together to stop Gotham from being cut off completely.

Batman: The Dark Knight directed by Christopher Nolan is non-stop action thriller that continually did the unexpected. The film is based off of the original Batman comic book but additionally changes the perception of the everyday world as good to naturally bad. Throughout the movie, Batman stands for honesty and goodness while the Joker is a symbolism of chaos and evil. Both sides are forced to make quick-witted decisions in order to stop the opposing vigilante from doing his desired work. This is one of the most inspirational documentaries I have ever watched. The documentary is, at its heart, about the inspirational power of stories. The fact that they used the Batman character as their focus brings the power of stories into modern understanding. Although I feel they may have put a little too much focus on Batman as the driving Idea it is not really about Batman the actual character. As much as it is about the amazing people and their personal stories. The stories in this film are inspirational and amazing. This is portrayed at several times during the movie but some memorable moments were when he was talking to Commissioner Gordon on the roof of Gotham City Police Department next to the bat signal and mid sentence he just disappeared. This is also seen when in the bank vault after the Jokers heist.
