Do you ever have a hope of becoming Superman? Let me answer that for you if are still wondering, no. Superman is from a distant planet and you are not. Batman is the greatest and best superhero of all time. He can duke it out with the top super villains that Gotham has to offer. He is the greatest super hero of all time because he is human, humble and persistent. Batman is the super hero model. Batman is the closest we, as normal day to day people, can get to being a superhero. He is remarkably human in his actions even though he is considered a super hero. He has no powers to use against bad guys but instead relies on his intelligence and expensive gear. Batman acts out of revenge. He takes down villains because he feels a duty to avenge his parent and eradicate all wrong doing he possibly can. Batman is also human in that he cares about the people of Gotham. He has emotion. When it comes down to it Batman does not kill anyone when he easily can but instead he believes it's better not to. He is a humble super hero for this. …show more content…
There is not a time where Batman is not humble. He has millions of dollars and could have all the fame in the world but he chooses to keep himself in the shadows because he knows his work is bigger than him. Batman also can take all the credit for the villains he takes down but he prefers to leave the scene before any media gets there because he does not want the attention and accolades. Another way Batman maintains his humble appeal is that he tells no one about his work other than his butler Alfred and Commissioner Gordon. His humble traits bleed into his work ethic when it comes to having a crime
You probably know the superheroes of our generation. Superman, Flash, Iron Man, Thor, but you know, most people love Batman the best. 71% of people prefer Batman over Superman. This is probably because of his perseverance. Average people like us WISH we could recover from such a tragic background with such an intimidating attitude.
He says, “Batman is indeed super. He fights for truth and justice and he does it without any weird “mutations” like other superheroes. He’s normal. In him we see ourselves. And that’s what makes him the best.
Lastly, Bruce Wayne uses his massive wealth and intelligence to build gadgets, utilities, and tools all in an effort to stop villains—most of whom are not mortal. We have to realize that Batman is still a mortal man, and can be killed if due so. Therefore, not only does he have the intelligence to build whatever to defeat his foes, but he also has the cunningness to defeat them as well. This is evident in the Batman television series from 1966 to 1969, with Adam West. Moreover, many of these works that he creates has also caused him lots of pain and trouble that he self-situated himself in. One of the key examples is him battling Bane, where all his utilities has no use, and he was pummeled by him.
But whence digging past the loud colours and the "it's-a-bird-it's-a-plane," generic, one realises the true face of Superman. He isn't super for his inhuman abilities or his capricious appearance, he isn't a true man for his strong build and his appealing features: Superman is super because he's what everyone should aspire to be, and he is a man because he melds the world in a form of good and good only. For if Superman wanted to, he could rule the world and no one would be able to stop him. Superman is, literally, a god among men. He has the power to sink entire continents and kill millions of people with ease, but he chooses to protect everyone, good or bad, no matter how insignificant and tiny the life is for nothing in return. Superman is a hero because he's there for everyone, never compromising his ideals and taking the high road to support those in need. This is despite the fact that he could basically be a god lording over others without much trouble, but instead chooses to serve and inspire. That is why he is a hero. Superman is the ultimate hero, and not just because he is the most powerful being on earth but for his integrity which sets him completely apart. One could constantly remark on how Superman looks for the best in everyone, how he is ultimately loyal and selfless, not even considering the fact that he could rule the world but chooses to serve is the greatest compliment you can
Despite this, Superman isn’t real; he’s flawless, too good. This makes for good media, but he isn’t truly a character that we can relate to, because we as humans are flawed. When I think of a flawed, troubled hero one of the first characters that comes to mind is Batman. Batman was set on the path of becoming a hero after experiencing a
He might be a hero, but he hhas done some pretty horrible things that stem to the level of brutal. In one instance, Batman even shoved a bomb down a guy’s pants and pushed him into a hole. The bomb, unsurprisingly killed the guy. This is not something Batman would normally do. He doesn’t believe killing is the answer to people’s problems.
WHY BATMAN IS THE BEST The Dark Knight of Gotham is known for his deadly tactics and his one-man war on crime. However, not many appreciate the story of his dark past. At the age of eight, Bruce Wayne witnessed the murder of his parents by a petty mugger. There was no one to save them. It was a moment of helplessness for Young Bruce, and it is hardly the image one carries when one thinks of a super hero.
He is brilliant and has one of the keenest analytical minds on the planet. Since Batman has a lack of superpowers he often uses cunning and planning to beat his foes, rather than ¨out-fighting¨ them. He has plans for how to beat superman that have helped Batman beat Superman before. The main reason why Batman would beat Superman is because of Superman's weakness to kryptonite.
Heroes have the tendency to fight crime or serve the public without having to have a personal reason, this is not the case for Batman. Batman regularly, if not constantly, fights crime for his own benefit. While Batman was still Bruce Wayne, his parents were killed by a soon to be supervillain, this caused him to have an alternative motive to become a “hero.” Even if he does not directly advance on his parent’s murder, he still attacks ever villain that he thinks did him an injustice. “He smashes any and everything in his way while pursuing his ends,” (Wilson). While Batman smashes through his own intentions, Captain America fights crimes/serves the city for the people not for his own benefit. Batman might seem to be doing what a hero is supposed to do, but he is merely trying to avenge his parents death. “ Police are perplexed, worried the group will turn into vigilantes and doubt that the superhero policy is ever stopped any crime,” (source A). This is the same with Batman; the police do not know what to fashion of him, but are worried that he will insert himself in trouble. Batman might seem to be doing activities for others, still he does them for himself.
Since Batman is a human being, he doesn’t have any magical or unrealistic power. Batman abilities consist of mechanical or technology devices. For example some of those tools or devices are his bat-ray protector used to shut down a car, the ultra sonic bat-ray used to flush villains from hiding place, a translator and many other devices to recover himself or to help him fight crime. Superman came from a different planet called Krypton; therefore, he has unrealistic powers like thermal projection or heat vision. He also has invulnerability to temperature, he freezes things with his super breath, and many other super powers. He has power that a regular human wouldn’t be able to do and his strength is far above of a normal person ability. Both, superheroes have a different type of transportation, Superman can fly to his destination and Batman uses his bat-mobile to get across
He fights for justice and for the people, but unlike superheroes, Batman is not blessed with superpowers. Instead, he relies on his incredible intelligence, martial art skills, extreme physical strength, wealth status and his undying will to become known as one of the noblest and genuine superheroes. You may not agree, but in order to be a true superhero, it’s an absolute must to have superpowers. Every ability that Batman carries can be achieved by anyone with enough training and willpower. It’s just Batman’s remarkable detective skills that give him the edge in defending justice.
“Who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman?” is a question that has dated back to the creation of both characters. Starting with the launch of the New 52 event, DC Comics revamped their entire comic line rewriting the history and abilities of their characters. I will be focusing on the state of both Superman and Batman as they exist after the New 52. While many would argue that Batman could outsmart Superman, I would argue that Superman’s overall strength and previous history fighting Batman would suggest Superman would win.
This personality can help him to find the ways to complete whatever he thinks that it is important. For instance, Batman is catching the criminals continuously as this is what he wanted to do when he started to be Batman. Batman is a rule-oriented person. This can be good because Batman would not easy to be seduced by any person with any offer as he barely break his own rules. Hence, Batman is considered as a thoughtful person as he would think about any possible consequences before he takes any action. And yet, this may become his weakness. It is because he would be inflexible in his life whenever he is facing problems and situations. For example, a few people died because of Batman indirectly. It is because he could not fulfill the Joker’s request which he has to show his real face to the public. He suffered and almost surrender to the
Batman and Superman are both very popular Superheroes that have many DC fanatics behind them. Each has their own style and methods of achieving justice. Superman is an authentic superhero with great powers and Batman is just a crime fighter with technology and money. In the end, Superman should be considered a better hero than Batman.
Batman is one of the many fictional superheroes which appears in the “American comic books” that is published by the DC comics. The character is a secret identity for Bruce Wayne, the only heir to Wayne Enterprises. Bruce Wayne swore an oath of vengeance when he witnessed the death of his parents;Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne (Diamond, 2015). Bat man combats criminals in Gotham: a fictional city, with assistance from various characters, for example, his butler Alfred and Gordon; Gotham city police commissioner. Unlike many of the superheroes characters, Batman possesses no powers .Bruce Wayne trained himself intellectually and physically .it is from dedication to training he possessed the useful traits of physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective skills and indomitable will to fight for justice. Though his motive is to combat crime and protect people of Gotham city from criminals, the justice system in most of the times views Batman as a villain and vigilante. He can inflict fear to Gotham city criminals thereby bringing calmness to the city. I identify myself with the Batman character through his selfless will for justice, his strong determination to do good
