Change Your Mind, Transform Your Life
Winning the battle isn 't always easy, but renewing our minds is simple. I made a choice not to agree with lies and eventually the temptation to believe in depression stopped. I had to fight, sometimes VIOLENTLY, to remember who God is, that He is light, that He is good, that He encourages and comforts and provides. And when I know who God is I can also identify His enemy, evil, and turn away from it.

Paul our forefather exhorted us, "Don 't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think."[1]

The feelings of depression come with thoughts. For me, it was I 'm too fat and can 't do anything right. I was never going to "fit" in this world. The gifts that I had were useless. I was a phony so I should just stay in bed before everybody found out. Eventually, it was I should just die.
