I chose to abstain from night snacking because it is something that I have struggled with my entire life. When I was younger I would always wake up in the middle of the night while my parents were asleep and climb on the counters looking for Scooby Snack gummies. According to my sister, I also used to store chicken nuggets in doll house to eat later. As I grew older, I stopped night snacking as frequently, but I would still participate two or three nights a week. One of greatest weaknesses has always been eating candy and desserts. When it comes to both of those items I have been known to wake up in the middle of the night just to eat candy, or grab a piece of cake from the kitchen. My long history of night snacking and my inability to stop, made it the perfect action to abstain from for this activity.
