Bringing happiness to little families starting form. But, as all things, Labor and Delivery nurses need a good and proper education. There are many situations in which a nurse can be caught in. Also, there is a lot of training in which the nurses should accomplish. You see, there are many steps that a future RN should take to make all her dream come true.

My name is Gabriela, also known as Gaby. I'm majoring in the medical field to become a labor and delivery nurse. Sociology is one of the pre-requisites for my major. Nursing and sociology relate to each other in certain ways. For example, a nurse must have knowledge of a patient's background and behavior to better understand their needs. As far as I know, sociology not only focuses on an individual's culture but also social groups and class systems. The author is a nurse in a level two trauma facility in a community of approximately fifty thousand people in Oregon. The community is a college-town surrounded by a large agricultural area. There is a minimal ethnic diversity within the community. The diversity present occurs mainly from internationally students and faculty from the college. There is a growing population of women who desire low interventional births in the community. The author has worked on the labor and delivery unit of the hospital for the last 14 years. The hospital is the only one in the area to offer trial of labor services to women who have previously undergone a cesarean section. The unit on average experiences around 1000 deliveries annually.

The factor that made my decision to choose nursing as my major was mother, Esther. My mother has been a registered nurse for as long as I can remember.
