It is nice to meet you! Personally I've never been to Illinois although I do have a few friends who've had the opportunity to visit Chicago and recommend to go during the summer time to enjoy both the city and the lake. It is great to heard that you are doing your part to achieve your goal in becoming a Physician. What interested you in pursing a degree within the Medical field? The way you defined the word "Hope" in your own terms couldn't have been said better. I've decided to also use the word hope for my essay, however, the way you related that to events that I am sure a handful of us can understand from personal experience or even from a third person point of view. Once you achieve your goal, do you plan in practicing your degree there
Adversity has only improved my tenacity, focus, endurance, and problem solving abilities. Various circumstances have affected my academic performance negatively, but I use that as motivation to continually improve myself. I want to be a part of the solution to the family physician shortage and serve the community in the most effective way. My drive to improve the lives of others will help propel me through the difficulties of medical school and beyond. The personal experience I have with my immersion in the field of primary care gives me unique characteristics that will translate into creating a successful physician that focuses on building meaningful relationships with patients. I continually witness how my grandfather is positively impacting the community through medicine and it is my goal to be granted an opportunity to do the same. My belief in lifelong learning and continual self-improvement consistently drives me towards the study of medicine. Because of my life experiences, I now have the balance, endurance, clarity, and tenacity needed to be a successful medical

While growing up in Mobile, Alabama, I have always dreamed of becoming a medical doctor. My mother has been very supportive of my aspirations to attend college and become a pediatrician. She was the first in her family to graduate from high school and the first to attend college, which she never completed. Before graduating from high school, I knew that I wanted to obtain a degree elsewhere and not Mobile. Many of the steps I took to achieve this goal were unfamiliar to my family and me. These experiences have taught me that working consistently to achieve my

The Health Careers Academy provides students the opportunity to experience and interact with professionals in a medical field. So far, I have volunteered many hours at four departments associated with the academy. The department of pharmacy taught me many things. There are many jobs you can do with a degree in Forensic Science such as a CSI, Forensic Investigator or Forensic Technician. For example if you were interested in becoming a CSI (Crime Scene Investigator) you should know that you would be expected to work odd hours, collect and transport evidence, and take photographs of a crime scene. For a Forensic Investigator, also known as a Medical Examiner, you’re expected to work all hours, handling and identifying the body, collecting their belongings, and interviewing family, friends, and other witnesses. You’re also going to write reports about your discoveries and findings and the tests you did on the victim. To become a medical Examiner you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3
On a more specific, personal level as to why I want to attend the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the reasons are numerous. I was born and raised in the great state of Arkansas, better known as: “The Land of Opportunity.” I truly believe that UAMS offers its students an incredible opportunity for success. I would consider it a great honor and fulfilled vision to graduate with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in my home state.
A physician scientist with a background in medicine and research should be a leader and motivator in the scientific community to improve medicine. In the development of new biomedical technologies, the role of a physician scientist is to translate them for clinical applications and further identify potential research areas for scientists to explore based on their experiences in the clinic. This duality of a physician scientist is important and we need more of these people that can serve as a communicator of science and research. Although this career path is not easy, being a physician scientist entails much more than just being both a researcher and a doctor at the same time.
The career field I am interested in pursuing is the medical field. The field that I am most interested in pursuing specifically in the medical is a surgeon or physical therapist.
Throughout this document, readers will understand a few syllabus that I feel are important for my future career within the healthcare industry, some challenges I encountered, accomplishments, and opportunities that I have gained over the past seven weeks. In addition, taking the step to further my education is an accomplishment for me because if I did not decide to seek my dreams I would still be working at a convenience store. Furthermore, without this course I will not be able to obtain my college degree and seek employment in the healthcare industry. Therefore, it was a pleasure taking this class because I had the ability to gain more knowledge and skills for an administrative job. In addition, there are several insurance plans available throughout the United States; therefore, it is important to have the patient bring their insurance card with them upon arrival to verify his/her coverage.

My long term goal is to work with non-governmental organizations to help eliminate health disparities and enhance population health in economically developing countries.
When you are preparing for a future as a medical professional, one of your most important steps will be applying to residency programs. Like applying for a Caribbean medical school, this application process will involve far more than simply applying to programs and waiting for acceptance replies.
The medical field is filled with individuals who are selfless and truly care about the health and safety of others. The aspect of helping others is the most appealing aspect of being a radiologic technologist. Many healthcare professionals have events and experiences that have stimulated their interest in the medical field, as do I. The three largest influences that guided me to enter the medical field include being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at a young age, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competitive events projects and my father being a volunteer emergency medical technician (EMT) for most of my life. About six years ago, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease but the road to finally being diagnosed took two very long years.
