The career I chose to research and I would like to actually do in real life is nursing. A registered nurse is someone that takes care of you when you are sick. There job includes, righting down patient information and that patients symptoms. They also give patients there medicines and other things that the patient might need to take care of. Nurses are the person that’s job is right under the actual doctor, the nurse does everything that the doctor says that the patient needs to have done. They also handle special equipment that could be dangerous to other people. To become a registered nurse you need to complete different programs, a BSN program takes around four years to complete. APN programs take two to three years. Most places require people that work for them to have their bachelor’s degree in nursing. You also have to pass the National Council Licensure Examination. other requirements can be different in different states. Nurses have to keep washing their hands so they do not get sick and they don’t get other people in the hospital or office sick. Nurses could work anywhere from a hospital to a doctor’s office and even in a school as a school nurse. Nurses are needed everywhere and anywhere. It does not matter where you live you can move to the other side of the country and still get a job around your area. In every state and every town there is either a hospital or a doctor’s office or even a school. Nurses have to be friendly because they have to work with people all day and they have to be kind to them when taking care of someone, you wouldn’t want an angry person taking care of you.
