There are a great deal of jobs to pick from in addition I have made the decision to be an electrician. An electrician goes to residential areas and installs wire, light fixture, and outlets. The job also takes people skills for the reason that you work with people every day and must meet there needs if you want them as a longtime customer. It is one of the fastest growing jobs of today; there are hundreds of them just here in Colorado. An electrician will not require a college education. An education in business would be okay if you were to start your own company. To be an electrician you are required to have a 4-5 year apprenticeship and journeyman's license. It is not all serious though it also pays a significant amount. Picking a career is a significant process thing there's apprenticeships, getting the job, and making enough money to support yourself (NECA, 2016).

I would like to live in a reasonably priced apartment to live in until I can afford a better place. These things all sound great, but first I have to do well in an interview. I will have to have a solid resume'. On my resume' I will have to have things like prove I have an apprenticeship, journeyman's, and a high school diploma. I will also have to use words that make me sound capable. For example hard work, self-drive, and self-motivating. This will help sell what I want them to think of me. I hope with the write steps I can easily get the job. I can get this all done if I put my mind to it and do what is necessary. This is what it takes to become an electrician.
This is what I will not to do for a living. It is a hands on job witch I like because its not just sitting. In addition, your place of work changes everyday. A change in scenery helps make the job not get as old and dull. These are the reasoning I want to be an
When making my decision to become a phlebotomist I looked through my past and choose which area I enjoyed the most. My time with the laboratory was what I enjoyed the most. I enjoy having patient contact and trying to make them as comfortable as I can.
I enjoyed that job so much, because every day was exciting and different. It was so neat to me to meet people for short periods of time. They would come into my line and I would give them the best, fast, and efficient service as possible.
Another thing that draws me towards the career is the flexibility. A nurse is able to obtain a job in almost any state as long as they get the correct license for the state. Also, they are able to work in many different settings. A nurse can work in an office setting where the hours are set and they work a normal eight to five job. They are also able to work in a hospital setting, the hours differ when working at a hospital and some are required to work weekends and holidays. The physical demands for both setting would be different. Hospital settings would require lots of walking from room to room as well as running in certain emergency settings. In either setting though a nurse is required to be on their feet for long periods of time. It is not a job to where you would be stuck behind a desk.
Imagine getting the job of your dreams. Well, you can, but you have to get more of a education first. College is where you go after high school. Here, you can take many classes of your choice to help you to prepare for your career. Obtaining a college degree has many benefits.
So I did some research and found that, “Jobs added by 2020 would be a total of about 114,700 jobs.”(Explore the trades.com) This would help me by, a shoring that a job would be most likely available for me when I graduate, and I wouldn’t have to do a job I didn’t want to do! Which would tell me that I should really start trying things to prepare myself for this career of an electrician. More education I would need, I found on a website moreover said, “Make sure you take English seriously, because it’s needed in Blue prints and safety regulations” (BigFuture.CollegeBoard.com). This would help me with information, about how I would need to be able to be ready for when the time comes. Also this really great because, I currently have a (89.8) % in ELA. In a different find during research I found that, “Certain classes that are 4 years, and are in the special program created by the certain website will be free and or, at least 50% covered” (Learn.Org). This would help me save money, and get things easier when I would prerequisite them, and all I really care about is saving money, which would really help me in the long run! Also when you think about it since you would usually pay to take up to 4 years of classes, and you wouldn’t have to pay for it so, you would basically save up to (4) times as much money!!!!
Working as an electrician you encounter many dangers some that can cause injure or kill you and or others such as a electrical fire after wiring a building, that is why working in the field of electricians requires a lot of skill and attention to detail. When first starting you have little pay on difficult jobs, however after you become skillful enough to earn the rank of master you are presented with multiple fields such as the two I covered in this paper that will present you with your kind of work environment and pay that will be more than enough to make you
While blue-collar work can be rewarding, college opens the door to many more opportunities. Many careers require higher education or even a college degree. Manual labor can be grueling and ultimately limiting to a person's future.
There is a huge growth in this job field, the salary is great, there is minimal schooling, and it is a very flexible job. There are also many disadvantages to this job as well such as, occasionally unpleasant patients, there isn't much career variety, and the job can be repetitive. Being a dental hygienist you can be exposed to many diseases and infections. You are also sitting for a very long time which could expose you to neck and back issues. As a dental hygienist you will work hours usually ranging from 8 A.M until 5 P.M. The best part of this job in my eyes would be the working hours. Working from 8 A.M until 5 P.M is a great time frame in my opinion. The worst part of the job would be dealing with nasty build up in people's teeth. As I look through the advantages and disadvantages and read them I do indeed still consider and want this as my future career. I believe this job really fits me and what I want to do with my
The career I am pursuing is dental hygiene. Dental hygienists clean patient’s teeth, examine the mouth for diseases like gingivitis. My mom works for a pediatric dentist and I spend a lot of time at her work. That’s what made me choose this career. I love the atmosphere and how friendly everyone is.
Many people like to do hands on things, for example a nail technician. When you like to work with people and able to make them feel better about themselves. Many people can walk into your store feeling down, well you as the nail technician can change that if they like the way you did the job and then also like it. As a physician assistant one is able to help people every day and get paid to do it. That is very cool that you can have the opportunity to save lives and do what you love while getting paid a very nice salary. I love working with either younger children or older adults. I truly enjoy helping and making people happy. The other perk of helping different people daily is that your brain stays very sharp and is forced to do a lot of work. Instead of doing one task mindlessly over and over
Although college is not always needed for jobs, getting a degree is a great opportunity to
First I will tell you about education. Some type of educations are, an associates degree (2 years of college), bachelors degree (4 years of college), masters degree (6 years of college), and a doctoral degree (8 years of college). It is important to get a college degree if you want a good paying job. One cost of going to college is that you might have college debt, and if you are going to college for a job that doesn’t pay that much than I would recommend not going to a college. But if you are going to college for a job that pays a lot, then I would recommend going.
Ever since we were young, we have always heard how college is the only way to excel in a career and make more money. However, people need to realize that not all college degrees are comparable. If someone wanted to become a fire fighter, then college may not be a necessity. However, if you wanted to become a lawyer or a doctor, then college is essential to follow in this career path. Undoubtedly a person with a college degree can make up to
Mechanical engineering is not too different from electrical engineering in the sense that they both have to do with creating tools and many other things; however mechanical engineering has more to do with building things like cars and elevators than phones, or light bulbs. Being able to find a job after graduating from college is always something that should be worried about; however, the employment rate for mechanical engineers are increasing and is expected to increase by 5% in the next few years (summary). The median annual play for a mechanical engineer in 2016 was $84,190. A person only needs a bachelor's degree to start their work as a mechanical engineer (Summary). For mechanical engineering I would need classes like mathematics, physics, life, design and engineering (Summary). These things are also very convenient for me since I enjoy math and physic, but like I stated earlier everything has its own pros and cons.
