My day began by attending a bed unit meeting. I then updated and added information to the employee tracker. Once this was complete I attended a pain management meeting where I recorded minutes. After the meeting I stocked isolation carts and created welcome kits for the remainder of my day. I started my day by attending bed unit meeting. Afterwards I attended a pre-surgery meeting with my site coordinator. The rest of my day was spent filling isolation carts and creating welcome packets. Today was a very busy day filled with meetings. I started by attending a bed unit meeting. After the meeting I attended a nurse huddle meeting. Jessica: Spoke with her regarding concerts. She seems to understand that this is not an option for CL staff and explained her interest for DSGP. She had a lot of questions that I explained could not be fully answered until we clarify a few things before
For todays clinical, I was located at the office in Pineville. To start the day, Mrs. Faranda went over the computer system and planned out her day based on her goals set for each patient. She planned out which patients she would need to call first. After that, she showed me how to look and see which patients were in the hospital and which were located in the emergency department. Lastly she me different thing in the computer system like the social determinants of health and the medication system. She also went over resources. To end the day, she made a few phone calls and tired to reach out to certain patients. Overall, I enjoyed my day and being able to learn more about Community Care of North Carolina.

deliver patients medical records, and run errands for all of the Nursing Units, Radiology, Admitting, and the general offices. From this experience I exhibited characteristics such as responsibility, caring, and, trustworthiness. Most importantly from this experience I learned you can change a person’s entire day by simply sending a smile their way or offering assistance. The small things in life matter, and I was reminded to live everyday to its fullest, because you never
Your typical work day will begin with an informational meeting so the nurses and doctors can receive their daily reports; this occurs twenty

My aim for today was to make more time for one on one sessions with the residents. This actually ended up working quite well as 5 of the 12 residents in cottage #3 went out for a bus outing from 0930-1100. I came back from my first break and was entirely done all the AM care, including that morning's shower, so I was able to take an hour to file and paint the nails of two residents.
Another day went by at the Brookville general Hospital. And It felt great to be there because I learn something new every time. As usual, my shift started with the morning report. After that I headed to my assigned patient who had left hip replacement, which was my first time dealing with a patient with a hip replacement. Even though, I felt that there is not much I can for my patient other than morning care and vital signs. But it was still great to learn about the correct position for patients who had a hip replacement. I also got the chance to see a physiotherapist teaching the patient about the exercises that can help to improve recovery. It was interesting to see all that. My assigned patient was discharged during my shift so I helped
Yesterday's clinical went well, as usual, but it was a bit slow at times. I have noticed that there are days that the long term care unit is extremely busy and there are times where things go smoothly throughout the day. Yesterday was one of the days in which everything ran smoothly and we try to find things to do to keep busy.
I met with Karen, my preceptor at 9 am and she outlined the daily plans along with my writing assignment. After this short meeting,
The day much like any other typical day at placement started with me waiting for the students where I could see the buses. Upon seeing the buses arrive I thought today I would go further down to
I was present during all meetings which were collectively held by the group. I am a professional therefore punctuality is of utmost importance to me. I would always arrive a few minutes before the commencement of the meeting. However, on one occasion I arrived a minute into the
During my simulation today I was paired up with my colleague, Madison. Since we were the third group, we watched as the other two groups went through their part of the scenario in the debriefing room. We ensured to pay attention to the patient’s clinical status, the interventions our colleagues provided, along with the medications that were administered. As our colleagues administered medications, we also performed our own medication math to ensure the patient was receiving the correct dosage. That way if a medication error was identified, we would be better prepared to intervene. In addition, before we entered the room, we had agreed that I would perform the vital signs on the patient, perform and assessment, and ensure the equipment was hooked
According to new policies if a student does not use certain accommodations in general ed. then they can't use them during Terra Nova, thus the reason why a modification meeting was scheduled. At the same time the student received four F's on his report card so I presented him to CSC to discuss his current area of disability( CI). The very next day a meeting was scheduled by Kleckly for an assessment planning meeting with his parent and the parent was a no show. I did not schedule the AR for today, Ms. Gray, Jaquarious' mother called and scheduled the meeting for Thursday 3/17 or Friday 3/18 stating that was the only time she could attend. I am well aware of the district's expectation on drafting an IEP three days in advance and DRAFT goals
As stated these were just a few of the most memorable tasks I undertook while working at MassMutual. However, there were numerous tasks given on a daily basis and several opportunities to stimulate my knowledge in my career field. Some of these tasked included daily meetings. These meetings were ranging in purpose, and length, but all had a certain level of importance. On Mondays, I attended meetings intended to refine new agents’ knowledge on ways present solutions to potential client’s problems. One of the teaching techniques used by our managing staff was to assign a scenario that would that has been a past client issue from one of the senior members in our office and have the new agents formulate a solution with graphs and figures that prove to meet or exceed needs of the scenario. Personally, I found these exercises very productive and informative because it allow me to use the important resources provided the home office to ultimately help practicing agents solves these questions faster and more efficient. Another meeting formulated into our weekly schedules was Tuesday meeting where we got to hear from agents who are well versed in particular fields of work for example Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, and the many subsidiaries of the financial planning industry. These meetings were intended to indulge and strengthen our knowledge on those products, so we as new agents are fully aware of the different opportunities in the industry so we can match those financial
